I don't have pictures BIT HANDS DOWN THE BEST PLACE FOR BREAKFAST/BRUNCH ON MARTHA'S VINEYARD!!! The menu is so much fun. Chef Gina is soooo outside the box it's crazy. And then she adds specials and makes your choice even harder. I love, love The Art Cliff Diner. And if you see my other reviews you will know this is my spot!!

Went here for a bite before the ferry. Place was busy and they sat us at the most uncomfy table by the kitchen didn't really mind because we were just hungry. I had the lox eggs benny and it was just ok, greasy potato pancake and overpriced in my opinion. However, my partner got the steak and eggs and I think the cook should be fired. In what world does that lump of cardboard constitute a steak. Potatoes were somehow burned and underdone. He asked for the steak medium rare and could barely cut through it with a steak knife. AND TO TOP IT OFF on the way out the waitress told my boyfriend I "need a nap". We were nothing but courteous and tipped well so that really had me POed. Maybe the sweeter dishes are the way to go? or just don't come here

So so so happy this place is finally open again! It was great before and if anything is even better. Still basically the same menu, great specials, friendly staff, buzzing atmosphere in a tiny place... Expect to wait a while for a table and a little longer than your average diner for food (it's fancier than scrambled eggs and soggy toast), but it's so worth it. Prices reasonable by MV standards and portions big enough that you sometimes need a doggy bag.Dietary restrictions: Only one dish is officially marked gluten free, and they don't have baked goods or bread suitable (generally). However there is so much on the menu, and they are flexible with substitutions, so will make something great! Try the Mexican chicken breakfast tacos with corn tacos or potato pancakes.Kid-friendliness: Small space, not really suitable for kids who need to run around or strollers/high chairs, but we take our baby and sit him on the bench just fine. Plenty of food to choose from for fussy eaters but not a specific kids menu.
