Fish is a great new dining experience in Vineyard Haven. Although it was early, they still had a fairly good crowd. Place is well appointed and the vibe is great. We stopped by for a last minute meal before leaving the island. The wine was crisp and cold and the clam chowder delightful. Service was stellar.

Chaotic, We had to bus our table coming in. Order at counter, food took a long time to come. My lobster roll was grossly overpriced and not good. My husband had ceviche and the portion was tiny. Disappointed.

Fish is a fantastic seafood restaurant serving Mexican style foods like tacos, bowls, and quesadillas. The coastal decor inside gave off California vibes and the outdoor patio with a view of the water was the perfect spot for lunch. I got the shrimp quesadilla because the waiter told us that was his favorite and it was amazing!

The service was awful. After ordering the Baja bowl, they brought the fish fried. When I told the skinny woman that’s not what I ordered, she gave me this “are you kidding me” look. Another woman working there seemed to always look past me when I was asking for something. The beer I ordered was also warm, and the fish and chips was brought out with no tartar sauce. All forgivable things but the number of times in one setting was off the charts bad.

We waited 45 minutes for our meals and had to return the chowder because it was cold paste. Party of 6 and meals came out of the kitchen in waves, but one person's meal came 5 minutes after the rest of us. Will not return.

The food is subpar. we ordered a frozen pina colada which was the worst I ever had although it looked very good in presentation. we had Mexican corn which was soggy, half dressed in sauce and we left it uneaten. the wait for the food to be delivered was 1 hour after ordering and the entire experience was awful. stay away.

Probably the best restaurant in Vineyard Haven if you are looking for a quick and delicious meal. The place is located in a great spot on main street, and is super nice and cozy, I really recommend dining here after dark to get the best out of the atmosphere. The food comes out fast and is surprisingly good for what you’re paying. Service is great and staff is super helpful and friendly! Fish MV never disappoints!
