We had a wonderful dinner here last week on our only night this time on the Vineyard. So, the bottom line is this: if you have only one night in Vineyard Haven, this is the place to go to for a superb dinner. The name in Italian means “ the attic”, and indeed it’s on the second floor, up a long flight of stairs. But if you can manage that, you’re in for a treat. Nice atmosphere - plenty of room yet cozy on a cool Dec night. Service slow, why I gave four stars. The food presentation, taste and wine were heavenly. Top marks for cook! I plan to go back again, before closing for the season .
La Soffitta always amazes me with their pasta dishes like a classic spaghetti and meatball, as well as their desserts and oh my, you must taste their eggplant fries when they are on the menu, truly delightful!
