I went and ordered 3 cheese burgers for the family, bring the food home, and it's pork and corn and everything but what I ordered. I asked for 3 of the number 02 s on the menu, which are listed as cheddar burgers. Then I call to complain and the servers only reply was "dont know what to tell you" . No offer of replacement or refund. I was wondering why it was as expensive as it was. If u go there look at your order b4 u leave. They totally messed up. My family was very disappointed. I don't eat pork, so much for dinner tonight...

Excellent food and service. One of my favorites on Marthas Vineyard.

The food is amazing. The ambience, fantastic. But what made this my favorite place I’ve been to in all of 2022 was our server, Lara. So knowledgeable and friendly. Telling us how the chef buys from local fishermen and farmers sold us all THREE times we visited Beach Road in our two week stay in MV.

During our trip to Martha’s Vineyard last fall, we visited Beach Road Restaurant. We arrived shortly before they opened for dinner, and there were more than a handful of people waiting outside. We didn’t make a reservation, but we were able to get counter seats before it filled up. We started our dinner with some cocktails. I ordered Sangria and my hubby ordered Gentleman’s Agreement. Sangria didn’t look like Sangria, it had no fruit, and not fruity at all, and not sweet. Gentleman’s Agreement was inventive and creative. I liked it much more than the Sangria. For appetizer, we ordered Brioche Bread with Chive Butter. It was impressive just to look at, beautifully baked to golden color, with soft, fluffy, cloud-like inside. The chive butter was great too. I totally understand the popularity of it. After just one bite, you will also fall in love with this loaf… Oysters, half dozen comes in an order, three different kinds. The oysters were fresh, not fishy, and delicious! For main, I chose Lobster Linguini. First few bites were sinful and delightful, but then it became a bit too salty for me. The flavor of the dish was great though, if it were just slightly less salty, it would have been perfect. My hubby chose Halibut, it was so good! Perfectly crunchy on top, with flaky and moist fillet, delicious! We had a lovely dinner there, with tasty drinks and food. I definitely recommend the Brioche, it is to die for!

We went twice Once In February and the next time in July. February was awesome. My spearpoint oysters were plump and delicious. Fried chicken was crispy and well seasoned. July was forgettable Oysters were mangled from careless opening. Lobster pasta was kind of bland. Not bad at all. Just forgettable. Wine list is good with fair prices.

Food and drinks are good, but the vibe and service are unwelcoming. It's as if they are doing us a favor and want us out of there as quickly as possible. Service was perfunctory. Our chicken was brought halfway through our appetizer, no apology. Mostly irritated that we sent it back. Friends had a similar experience. Compared to places like Alchemy and the Winnetu, Beach Road does not deliver on service. Not sure we would go back. Had the same experience last year.

Never disappoints, food and service among the best on the island! Cocktails are creative and yummy. Don’t skip the charred cabbage if it’s available

We stumbled in by bicycle as we were hungry and wanted a place to sit and enjoy a drink/dinner. We were created by the hostess and inquired about seating. She stated we could sit at the bar as they had little openings. This suited us fine as we were ushered to the bar. The bar sits opposite and open to the open dining area that provides a platform overlooking the lagoon and grass however a large mirror placed on the wall allows for bar stools to access the view without seemingly turning to interrupt the tables in the dinning area…well played!!! The decor is industrial and open with warm hints of rough yet weathered wood and a spattering of nautical elements. The ceiling is treated with noise dampening tiles that are not obvious but portray an understanding of how to manage sound issues. The staff is warm, respectful and attentive with each not being overwhelming there- The food was tasty with a hint of unique to locally sourced. Do order dessert as the butterscotch pudding and absolutely fabulous chocolate chip cookie complete with a dash of salt granules was the simple indulgence that one confesses as sinful!! The barkeeper Adrienne was most helpful in adding guidance to the menu and did not offer judgement when I ordered the hot dog… yup, I said it a hotdog- You be the judge-

The flank steak with corn, heirloom tomatoes and this amazing sauce. It was delightful!! The side car was good too. Service was acceptable but could be better.
