Service was very good. I wasn’t impressed with the stuffed quahog but the seared scallops were great! I thought the sushi was ver expensive

We ordered a good bottle of wine, two appetisers and two entrees. Our server asked did we want it all together we said no. So appetisers arrived. 5 mins later entrees arrived. We sent them back. 5 mins later they came back this time with a young man who had attitude and they were cold .Give us 10 minutes we said and we want new food. Tuna was rare so easy to spot if it was same. It came back. The tuna was medium well. I told you it would be on the pass attitude said. Want new we said. Took so long to recook we called the waitress over and said we were going. Paid for what we had as newish food arrived. Waitress had no support from management. Such a disappointment for our last night on the Cape. Wine and appetisers were fine just 'couldnt be bothered' feel about the whole place....avoid...there are loads better in Falmouth

Was very busy every time we tried to get an outside table. Food was good. Bar style menu. No draft beer, which is a drawback with seafood. Service can be slow.

Great space, busy bar and large staff. Offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Has a regime used as well as a sushi menu. Good selection of drinks and my steamers were excellent.

Don't even bother. Place is garbage and should be avoided at all costs. You're best bet is to spend your money elsewhere.

Great spot. Indor and outdoor dining by the water. Great gathering spot. One of the top restaurants in Marthas Vineyard. Food was very good as was the service.

The Boathouse cantilevers over the water making a great place for a midday cocktail and some apps. The food was typical but tasty. The service was good and the overall atmosphere very nice. If very sunny, can be to hot to sit outdoors.

We started our week in Falmouth meeting family at the Boathouse. We had never been there before. We were seated right away which was nice. The waiter was excellent but they were out of several items including certain beers, stuffed quahogs and fried clams. What Cape restaurant doesn’t have fried clams??? The clam chowder was excellent and others enjoyed their burgers.

This restaurant looked great, with a nice fresh interior and great view among the boats at the marina. Our server was cheerful and friendly. I ordered the Caprese salad with steak tips, and my husband ordered fish and chips. The server came back a few minutes later to inform us that the steak tips were not "ready" yet, and I could have shrimp or chicken instead. I opted for a caprese salad with no meat. After the server left the table, I remarked to my husband that the server had not said that they were out of steak tips, but that they were not "ready", which indicated to me that they were probably frozen and not defrosted yet. I kept my hopes up. The caprese salad itself was nicely presented and tasty, but my husband received what was VERY obviously a commercial, frozen breaded fish filet. It was dry and tasteless. When approached, the server stuck up for his employer, saying, nervously, that they cut and breaded the fish fresh in the kitchen. Sorry, but no, that was not fresh fish. The topper came when we were descended upon by a group of approx 25 campers, boys about 8 years old, very animated, and VERY LOUD. The counselors did not even try to quiet them down, and they were seated just one table away from us. They continued to shout across the huge table, and do boy things like punching each other and getting up and running around. We would have gone to McDonald's if we wanted that atmosphere. A good caprese salad is about all I can say positive about this experience.

While I knew we would have to wait awhile for a table, I had no idea that the restaurant would have run out of everything, including steak tips, the pizza special, angel hair pasta and they don’t serve bread. Our server, Patrick was excellent though - he was bummed that they ran out of several of our meals. Once was enough-I will never go again.

I enjoyed my experience at The Boathouse. It’s casual and the views outside are great. The service was a bit slow but I think my server had a few large tables inside that she was taking care of, so that is probably why. I enjoyed the fried clams and my friend said that the shrimp was excellent. Great drinks as well. I’ll definitely be back!

Fried Clams were great...Also my friends raved about the swordfish sandwich. Service was really nice and the atmosphere was casual.

Went to the boathouse today for lunch! Seated right away, excellent table service from Katrina! Thanks. I had the best burger ever! Very good. Nice view of boats outside! Thanks for a great lunch!

Their summer lemonades are amazing! I had two with strawberry puree - delicious! We had drinks and appetizers (calamari and hummus, both of which were great) on the outdoor patio overlooking the boats and ocean, which was amazing. It was the perfect weather with a breeze under the umbrellas. You do need to order food in order to get an outdoor table. (visited 7/19/19)
