My colleagues recommended visiting while in the Boston area. The food is great. Fresh, with good flavor. However, I’m not sure I’d return due to the service. My group and I felt like we were intruding, and a bother to the waitstaff. Our server, older woman, was very cranky, barely attentive, and took over 20 minutes to get a beverage. I’m not one to complain, however it really disappointed us that the food was so good, but the subpar service really left a day taste in our mouth, especially when we are a very easy group.

For the real deal Italian dinner, this is your place. By far 1 of the best place outside the city. Dont forget the desserts. From start to finish I was extremely pleased, the Frutta Di Mari with homemade pasta was a hit. Will be bach many times and we live 40 miles away.....

We were there for a birthday celebration. It was excellent. The food and service was great. They even brought out a special dessert for my friends birthday. I would recommend this place if you love food. The prices are very reasonable.

First time at this place and to describe it in one word it is “ Phenomenal”.
The place is homie and beautiful, I felt like I entered my granny’s home and smell all the delicious food she is making. The staff is so friendly and welcoming like you just come home for thanksgiving to your family. The food, OH MY, home made pasta, home made sauce, portions to feed a family of 10 😆. You will definitely have leftovers that you will thoroughly enjoy the next day while dreaming about your next time to Artichokes! I had heard of this place but never thought it would blow my mind and my taste buds. Definitely need to check this place out, you might just bump into me devouring something delicious.
I am a disabled person, and I chose is not adhere to that policy. I was very upset because I was seated at table that was the furthest from the entrance. When I finally maneuver my way through all the tables with my walker, I sat down, only to be told by the waitress that my walker would be taken away from me and she would bring it next to the kitchen. I said no way I folded my walker up and left it next to me . she told me we can’t have that because we can’t have that because we have another party coming in.I just told her I’ll keep it folded and I did. !As far as the food goes I could play hockey with my salmon it was baked to a crisp! When we were about to leave we asked for separate checks to get an eye roll she didn’t hear us ask for it before. I know I will not go back to artichokes if I’m gonna get this type of service. It’s not good for the handicap. My waitress couldn’t even bother seating me correctly so be way handicap people.!!!!!!

If you are not gluten free, you'll do fine here. But if you are, be warned. No gf pasta, no gf bread or rolls, and the way they adapt a sauce to be gf is by leaving out the thickener. The artichoke appetizer was very good, in spite of the watery sauce. But my salmon was overcooked and dry, as was that of at least one other person in our party. I would not recommend this restaurant if you have celiac disease. Others in our party who were not gf seemed satisfied. Pricey.

Could use a decor freshener but they don't really have to! Always draws a great crowd; food is always delicious and very plentiful. Good, strong drinks and friendly service. Prices are decent for today's market as well.
