Famous strawberry, apple salad lived up to the hype. Delicious. Club sandwich was huge and everything was very fresh and hot. Owner Charlie was very friendly. Definitely recommend

What an amazing experience for our entire family. I called first thing when they opened and Charlie himself answered. I asked if reservations for a party of six with two children was possible and he was so overwhelmingly willing to accommodate! When we arrived, Charlie was so welcoming to our entire family and knew who we were immediately- got us all set up with menus and prompt service. The restaurant was so clean and the staff so friendly - Charlie even asked the kids if they’d like to come ring the bell behind the counter. And, perhaps most importantly the food was delicious and so fresh! The cheese pizza was amazing - the perfect ratio of crust, cheese and sauce. The kids loved the chicken tenders and even the toughest of youngest critics was eating the tzatziki until gone! 12/10 food and service and definitely going to visit again!!

We kept hearing the rave reviews for Charlie’s. We ordered a chicken parm sub, an Italian with pickles and tomatoes only, side of meatballs, house fries and potato skins. The order was timely and service was friendly for pick up. Total cost was $66. We live 2.6 miles away. By the time we got home, everything was still hot however the chicken parm was not palatable for us. The toasted sub roll was soggy, even the toasted bits, the breading on the chicken tasted undercooked and had no crisp. The Italian sub flavor was there but the meats were cut too thick causing a texture issue. The sub roll for an Italian is usually soft but this was a bit on the stale side. The side of meatballs taste similar to area meatballs such as d’agastinos on Woburn and amici’s in Medford but were rather oily. The potato skins were small and toasted with cheese and a lot of parsley. French fries were standard and the most eaten of the meal. I do not understand where all the high ratings are coming from. Perhaps an off day but at this price point we won’t be back.

Charlie, the owner makes you feel like family from the minute walk into his restaurant! He is such a talented cook and friendly and warm hearted! The food is amazing with huge portions! The chicken bacon ranch pizza is a 10/10!

Everytime I go into Charlie’s I’m blown away on how good the food is! Charlie is always so nice and helpful. I truly love going here to grab a wrap or a salad. So glad to have a local place that I can go to and feel welcomed. Great place!

At first, I was a little skeptical. There was no way a place could have a 4.9-star rating with over 600 reviews—it was too good to be true. I have never been so happy to be proven wrong!

First, let me tell you about the atmosphere (the food is incredible but we will get to that in a minute). If you’ve ever wanted to feel like you walked onto the set of Cheers, this is the place. Charlie, the owner, welcomed every single person who called or walked through the door as if he had known them forever. It was my first time there, and even I found myself smiling ear to ear, caught up in the buzz. His energy was contagious, exuding warmth and a sense of welcome that’s hard to find anywhere else. He was incredibly kind and sweet, and even though he was doing the work of an entire staff, his engagement with everyone never wavered.

The gentleman manning the oven was a hoot as well! He was just as friendly and engaging with customers as Charlie.

Now, let’s get to the food - WOW! First, my son - who is the pickiest eater ever - fought his brother over the chicken tenders and French Fries. I only meant to try one but ended up eating three! (We got an adult-sized portion to share, and it was a ton of food.) The pizza? Amazing! I’ve worked in more pizza places than I care to admit, and this was one of the best I’ve had in a while.

I wish we lived closer because this would absolutely be our go-to spot for pizza and movie night. I know it’s cheesy (pun totally intended) to say a place is magical, but it truly is.

Charlie - keep doing what you’re doing. I couldn’t have been more impressed if I tried!

Went to Charlie's for the first time today! The food was delicious and the staff is even better ( ten fold)!! It's a must try and will be back again and again! We even got some free special treats, thanks to Charlie! Don't walk, RUN!
