My husband and I came here to experience the omakase and it was a very special evening! We sat at the counter and Chef Allen was so kind and warm. He put a lot of care and expertise into crafting each bite of nigiri. ? The decor of the place is very very simple and Chef Allen said that is because he would rather put all the focus on the quality of the food. Some of our favorite parts were the trout with roe on top, the blue fin tuna, and the Chawanmushi (savory egg pudding.) Chef Allen showed us how he gets fresh delivers of fish twice a week from Japan ?? and that’s why the sushi ? is so delicious. He has a lot of interesting sauces and toppings that he put on each bite of nigiri. We also tried a roll of sushi called the Salmon Love and it was delicious. They even gave my husband a delicious complimentary piece of the matcha tiramisu because we were celebrating his birthday !We are planning to come back on Saturday night for dinner with a friend! Definitely sit at the counter if you can. As the others have said, this is a very small family run business for now so please be patient and kind with them as they are growing.

This place is genuinely unreal. Best sushi I’ve ever had- hands down. It’s a small restaurant that feels homey. The chef chats with you as he cooks, and it’s very personal. As the other comments have said, the fish is flown in from Japan. It’s all so fresh. I’ve never tasted sushi that tasted like this.I flew in on Sunday and wanted sushi. I could not believe Mojo had a perfect 5 stars, so I had to try it. I had lunch here Sunday and I’m back today (Wednesday) for dinner. I usually like more variety in my dining, but I can’t stay away!Seriously seriously worth the trip, I will be coming back here routinely. I cannot speak highly enough of this restaurant.Wow.Parking: Takes a few laps to find a good spot- not that bad and so worth it

Amazing sushi. Sit at the sushi bar. The sushi chef/owner is so nice, and did I mention that the sushi is amazing? The presentation is beautiful with lots of edible flowers.

The reviews for this restaurant are fake. It is very over priced. Sushi is average to below average at best. I tried half their menu and it was all generic. There are at least 20 other sushi restaurants i tried around the area which was tastier.

There are a number of restaurants in the Wakefield area that tell you they offer Japanese cuisine be it some form of California roll or Ramen...Now that Mojo is open there is only one. The others will serve you minute pieces of fish cut weeks ago, wasabi that tastes as if it was at the bottom of a tasteless plastic container and petrified eggs in their Ramen that have been sitting in soy for days at a time. It has been a long time since I got a piece of sushi where it felt truly fresh and bounced back to the touch. The care and interest their purvey their food in is second to none in this region. You had a sense of the chef's pride the moment you walked in and realized you were not going to get a little vessel to mix giant quantities of soy and wasabi in to drown out the sub quality fish others serve. The chef was not just interested in serving you his best, but also there to explain to you the simple importance of some of the aspects of the food he had prepared. While the restaurant itself was very similar to almost all of the small family shops you would see throughout Japan, I just wish it was a little bigger so more can share his genius. Albeit, the care and quality they provide could diminish with scale. The only thing I would say to the locals is that there is a whole incredible world of Japanese cuisine beyond that cheap gas station California roll you might crave on the weekends, here is a great place to begin your investigation!
