This was my second visit to this Greek restaurant in Walpole, MA, and it was just as exceptional as the first. I have not stopped thinking about this restaurant since my initial visit in October and could not wait to return. I live in Rhode Island, and despite the 40-minute drive, it is absolutely worth it. This is easily one of the best Greek restaurants in Massachusetts. I already have plans to go back in two weeks because it truly is that good.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for date night or a special dinner in Walpole. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Peyton was our server both times, and she was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind.
This is a true hidden gem restaurant in Walpole and a must-visit if you are looking for authentic Greek food near Boston.
We ordered the root mocktail, whipped feta, grilled octopus, lamb chops, and the lemonopita for dessert. Every dish was excellent, and the lemonopita is an absolute must. If you are searching for high-quality Mediterranean and Greek cuisine in Massachusetts, this place delivers every time.
Highly recommend!!!

We’ve lived in Walpole for a couple of years and have been to Kosmos a handful of times. It is easily my favorite restaurant. The food is so good, the staff are always friendly and the atmosphere feels like it could be tucked into the city. The Astakomakaronada (pasta with lobster, corn and tomatoes) is my absolute favorite. The fried zucchini, Kataifi shrimp and lamb meatball appetizers are amazing. I literally had dreams about the kataifi shrimp after eating it the first time! This place is such a hidden gem. I really hope they continue to thrive and stick around for a long time.

My friend and I dined to celebrate her birthday. This was her first time here. I have dined before. The food is 10/10 every time. I am in love with the dip trio! The drinks were absolutely delicious. My lamb chops were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The tzatzki was very fresh. The feta was very good quality. Our server was lovely and made us feel very welcomed. I look forward to dining again soon.

Every meal is excellent, friendly atmosphere. Always familiar faces ready to greet you when you walk-in the door. The BEST espresso martinis, Maria/Momma is the heart of the restaurant and always remembers her customers.

I placed a reservation to celebrate our anniversary dinner, expecting a more intimate experience. I’ve dined at other restaurants around the country that offer quieter, more private seating for couples celebrating special occasions, so I assumed we would have a nice spot. Unfortunately, the dining area was extremely loud—we had to nearly yell just to hear each other. Because of this, I do not recommend this restaurant for an anniversary celebration. I would suggest choosing a place that is more accommodating and intimate.
As for the food, the fried zucchini was easily the best I’ve ever had—10/10. The bread and spread that were served, however, tasted odd. I ordered the steak, which was cooked slightly more than I prefer, but that was acceptable. That said, nearly everything was drenched in olive oil. If you love olive oil, this may be the place for you.
My wife ordered the chicken, and unfortunately it was very dry. Dark meat should not have the same texture as a chicken breast cooked to 185° internal temperature. The dessert was a breaded chocolate dish, and I have to say it was not very good.
Overall ratings:
Appetizer: 10/10
Main entrée: 2/10 (chicken), 6/10 (steak)
Dessert: 6/10
If you enjoy heavy olive oil, dry chicken, and extremely loud dining areas, this restaurant may suit you. Otherwise, I’d recommend looking elsewhere—especially for a special occasion.
On a positive note, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, answered all of our questions, and genuinely did his best to make the experience enjoyable. I sincerely thank him.
