Tasty authentic Mexican food for all ages. Carne asada with refried beans and rice is favorite kid’s dish. It’s hard to pick appetizers with so many good options, but definitely the guac with chicharron is a must. The grilled octopus and camarones enchipotlados are also good appetizer options for sea food lovers. And the dulce de leche for dessert is also a must. Leave room to try it, won’t get disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu

Mussles and roasted salsa were great, but tacos were very mediocre and the NA frozen lime margarita was abysmal, nothing more than a glass of shaved ice with a lime wedge squeezed over it. High end prices for generally mediocre food and service. There has to be better than this.

Everything was outstanding, from the minute we were seated. Carlos was our attentive but non- intrusive server who was both personable and professional, a delight to interact with. Also a really sweet young woman assisting, didn't get her name. House margaritas were exceptionally good, roasted chicken mole was out of this world, carne asada was a very cleanly trimmed whole strip center cut cooked perfectly medium rare with an addictive avocado sauce and accompanying chicken enchilada mole poblano. Apps of baby back ribs and octopus were really spectacular. We were very impressed with the unusual takes ondishes we have tried at many different Mexican eateries. Amuleto is a must is you're dining in Waltham.

This was a great experience with some wonderful food. Sat outside, covered and heated. Was with 2 picky eaters who both enjoyed everything.

Assumed it was a higher end restaurant based on the pictures and reviews, but ended up being pretty average - which was unfortunately.Great location by the corner of Moody street with wonderful staff that make you feel comfortably at home. The main dishes were good, but could have been elevated further with some additional seasoning. Possibly try something out of their wheelhouse to rejuvenate their menu a bit and make them stand out.The chips for the appetizer were too hard, and uncomfortable to eat. But the flavors in the salsa and guac were definitely there!Overall, a good experience.

We’ve been to Amuleto’s many times over the last 4 years. We had dinner again this past Friday night. The food is ALWAYS consistently delicious. I wanted to post a review about the staff and the service. Every meal we’ve had at Amuleto’s is accompanied by some of the best service and staff in the restaurant industry. Polite, attentive, friendly and always on top of their game! Cheers and thank you.

I don't understand why everyone raves about this place. We just ordered a chicken taco platter for takeout, a chicken quesadilla, and an horchata for a whopping $90 before tip. The tacos are just the ingredients cooked (build your own), the quesadilla is a greasy mess on a small tortilla, and the horchata is half ice. The sides of rice and beans are almost a decent size though. We also dined in some months ago. Expect tapas sized plates and slow service (even though they only have about 10 tables). The music is also always just a little too loud.Just go to Taqueria El Amigo on Willow. It's a hole in the wall lunch place, but waaay better.

Great food, lots of small plates to share. The tequila choice was great and bartender knew their stuff. Would definitely go back, suggest booking ahead its a smaller place.

Great, fantastic service!! This is a great spot on Moody. My dish was great, my reason for the 4 Star rating is the menu size, a little limited for a Mexican restaurant. They were also out of guacamole.

Tonight was our first visit and we really enjoyed it. We started with the three mini tamales plate. The mole sauce on the chicken tamale was outstanding and even better was the tomatillo sauce on the pork tamale. We also had the brussels sprouts with pork belly and the fried plantains. We enjoyed them both.Last we got two tacos to share. You should always be able to order a single taco. The first was the pork which was generously filled. The second was something I had never seen before. They took a jalapeño and stuffed it with shrimp. It was wild, but so so good. I highly recommend getting that. Maybe get three. The service was friendly and the space is nice. It is a small dining room but they do take reservations and you can eat outside in nice weather (it was raining today).Bottom line: we’ll worth a visit.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, but they did make my son a cheese quesadilla at a discount price.
Very slow service Had to practically beg to order Food just ok Server barely checked in with us Very unfortunate First time visit will be our last

The food was very good, the service was just ok. The service would have probably been better had our server not been overwhelmed by a group of six very demanding guests.I'd definitely go back and give them another try though.

Pretty tasty Mexican food on Waltham's Moody street. I had the fish tacos, which were pretty tasty. I'll be back to try their frozen margaritas ?

The ribs are the best I've ever had. Try the tacos you will not be disappointed. Margaritas are smooth and flavorful.
