I ordered the Parma sandwich and homemade chips here, and was super impressed! If you are seeing the mixed reviews and feeling conflicted, I'm Italian (from Puglia!) and I really enjoyed this panino. The bread is more of a ciabatta style, and you can tell it's made fresh. They have a really great selection of imported meats, and the prosciutto di parma on my sandwich was delicious. I love that they offer true mozzarella di bufalo-- IYKYK-- and the handmade chips were SO good. I will have to return to try the chicken/eggplant parm people seem to love, but I'm already impressed by the true Italian sandwiches which are rare to come by in Boston at this quality (I'd even say I don't find it in the North End; tends to be more American style).

Delicious! Italian subs (and more) at their finest. The base chiabatta alone is a winner, then whatever you fill with is bonus. Haven't tried a bad thing yet, and by all accounts the it seems like the family/owners are pretty great as well for a bonus. Would recommend 👌

My family and I have been going to here for years, we all love it. The eggplant parm and sandwiches are amazing and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some good Italian food

Terrible service. I had ordered a lasagna and they hadn't even started to cook it at the pick up time when I arrived. Thus is the second time this has happened

Melenzana sandwich is fantastic - though the menu is a little on the pricey side for what you get.

Chicken soup is delicious.

It's a small, wonderful, delicious delicatessen. It's all carryout so the atmosphere doesn't matter. Large portions. After reading reviews I got the chicken parm sandwich and it lived up to the hype.

Great hole in the wall sandwich shop. I got the Parma sandwich as a recommendation from my partner, who insisted we try it after he had it catered to a meeting, and he was right—it was delicious! Prosciutto was tender, tomatoes were flavorful, and the mozzarella was the perfect texture. The staff was friendly and smiled at us as she prepared the sandwiches, which is always an added bonus.

Not sure why this place gets such high reviews. Is it bad, no. But it's not that great. The meatball sub has no flavor. The chicken parm doesn't either. The steak and cheese was the worst one I've ever had. And the cookies are rock hard. Tried this place a few times on lunch break and have been disappointed each time. Won't be going back, unfortunately.

This place is a hidden treasure. I think they bake their own breads. Fresh sandwiches made with quality Italian cold cuts. Perfect balance of bread to items on sandwich. We have been twice and will look for a reason to be in Waltham to go again.

Ordered Doms Veal cutlet parm $18
Today drove to Dominics in Waltham only because of all the reviews that I’ve read. Very seldom care to give my opinion/review and so I won’t bother to describe why my sandwich was so horrible today.
This wasn’t a mistake or fluke it’s what they serve as Italian Veal parm. I’m sorry to say I would never order purchase or eat from there again. But the Service was nice.
- to reply to the owners response of my review - Guess he tried to spin the truth saying I don’t know good Italian food. With that I’ll just laugh - Now you asked what was wrong with my order - first of all
It tasted very old nothing tasted fresh and clean. One bite and It went directly in the trash - can’t tell you why but I imagine what your placing the food in before it served or not cleaned properly. Everything tasted as if it was used with a dirty rag …Sorry not Good Italian food at all. You asked? I tried to spare you.
