I thought the fish quality was OK, service wasn’t great, I wouldn’t go back with so many other great places in the area

Great food and good service. The staff seemed very friendly however even though the place was empty, I had to look for help. No biggie for me; just reflecting in this review. The place was clean and decorated nicely. There was parking which helped. I would definitely return if I were in the area.

I, unfortunately don't know about the quality of the food because I ordered online and waited for my order. The door dash employee who did not speak english, went to the wrong address. called me and sent me pictures of another house to try to communicate and had 2 pedestrians he asked to take the phone explain he is at the wrong address. When I called the restaurant to find a solution she Hannah assured me she would call door dash and get a solution of repreparing food and sending another driver. After 15 minutes of no response from Hannah I called the restaurant for an update where she said she hadn't called door dash yet. I was upset to hear this and asked for a full refund after waiting almost an hour and a half for my food that would not get here or at worst would be here late and not cold (raw sushi). She hung up on me 4 times while I was trying to ask for details and a receipt for the refund. She said there was no manager in the restaurant I could speak to. And now I have 51$ waiting in limbo hoping she actually calls door dash THIS time because apparently they hold the money not the restaurant. Do not recommend. Terrible Service.
Small update: Door dash finally found the house after having the sushi in his car from 2:13 when he was at the wrong address until 2:55 when he found my house. Hannah tried saying that I had received my order then expecting me to eat raw sushi that had been delayed another 40 minutes to its destination. Then said she would need to call the manager who would be in at 4pm trying to ask me to wait ANOTHER hour for an answer on my refund for food I could not eat.

Food & service are excellent. We love coming here when we visit family in the Boston area. This location in particular.

The atmosphere is fine. Pretty basic; not fancy. The price is very reasonable given the excellent quality.

Easy parking in a small lot and along the street.

Highly recommended!

The best $15 lunch you can get! It comes with a bowl of rice and miso soup. The restaurant is clean and nice with friendly staff and parking spaces.

I don't understand how this restaurant has 4.7 in google review rating. First we ordered Shrimp and vegetable tempura. Shrimp tempura was greasy and not as crispy as other Shrimp tempura that I have tried in other places. Among vegetable tempura, there was broccoli and it had "Uncooked flour". I showed it to the server and her response was none as if this is something that customers should expect to experience. We also ordered "Sushi and Sashimi Combo". Sashimi was average, but Sushi was just dry. The tuna roll wrapped in seaweed had no flavor whatsoever. I might as well go get Trader Joe's Kimbap which is a lot more flavorful.

Fins Sushi: A Waltham Lunchtime Oasis
Fins Sushi in Waltham offers a fantastic Japanese dining experience, perfect for a satisfying lunch. I recently opted for their bento box, a delightful presentation of various Japanese staples. Each compartment held a delicious surprise: fresh sashimi, perfectly cooked tempura vegetables, and flavorful teriyaki chicken, all nestled alongside fluffy white rice. The variety and portion size were ideal for a well-rounded lunch.

To kick off the meal, I indulged in their fried gyoza. These pan-fried dumplings were crispy on the outside and packed with savory goodness on the inside. The dipping sauce added a perfect balance of sweet and savory, making each bite a flavor fiesta.

Overall, Fins Sushi impressed with its fresh ingredients, well-prepared dishes, and convenient bento box option. If you're searching for a delicious and authentic Japanese lunch in Waltham, Fins Sushi is a must-try.

I ordered a delivery of a lunch for me and my guests. All together three people. I paid $91.00, and I recieved an embarrassingly small amount of food.
Not as the susi where any better than in Market Basket. Not the quality, not the value for money!
The process of online ordering and delivery was organized really well, I must say.

Get the Crazy salmon maki! It was insanely good. We ordered 3 rolls and had the chicken katsu curry. The chicken katsu curry was delicious and came with rice and a small salad. You get two large chicken breast that are perfectly crispy with sauce on the side. It was delicious. Will definitely be returning :)

Fin’s is amazing! I’ve been to their location in Boston and was so happy that they opened one in Waltham! The service is phenomenal and the Sushi is high quality and very tasty! I’ve been twice and ordered many different appetizers and rolls and they were all great! Definitely can’t be disappointed here. I’m lucky to have such good sushi so close by!

We ordered takeout for the first time. Gotta say, we love sushi, and while we have our favourite spots, we like to try new places once in a while. We were on our way home from a road trip, and hungry, and really looking forward to some great sushi. This place unfortunately didn't impress. Small pieces of fish(we ordered the sushi/sashimi combo), the rolls were ok, but nothing to write home about. The spicy seafood salad was very plain and flavourless. Overall, pretty disappointing.
