The food was fresh, flavorful, and true to its authentic roots. Each dish was well-prepared with great attention to taste and presentation. The staff were warm, attentive, and made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The atmosphere was clean, inviting, and perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. Overall, Honest Restaurant lives up to its name — offering honest, high-quality food with genuine service. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying dining experience.

I think the food is very good if you know what you're ordering. The curries are not the best. Kinda bland and oily. Now everything else on the menu is very good. I love the street food stuff the most

Hands down the best vegetarian I have had in a while. Ordered rhe thaali, chutney Puri and Masala chai (left wanting more).

Authentic South Indian vegetarian food.
I have never seen a restaurant were you have to pay extra 2$ for asking to divide your one soup into two. 🤔🤦♂️

So here is my honest review of this restaurant (oddly named as Honest!). The only real positive thing about this restaurant was the service -- quick and efficient. As for the food, I am totally left puzzled by all the rave reviews here because -- The bhel and the dahi papri chaat were too sweet (and the papri chaat had very little dahi); the rava dosa was fine but the sambar was too watery and the coconut chutney and onion chutney did not taste anything like they should. As for the gobhi manchurian, this was probably the most fake GM that I have ever had the misfortune to taste (big pieces of cauliflower smothered in besan batter and deep fried and dunked into a sauce that did not taste either Chinese or Indian). The poori sabji that we ordered was fine. I guess, it is not easy to go wrong with poori-sabzi. Overall, a highly forgettable experience. Diners -- for a truly authentic south Indian cuisine go visit A2B in Northborough. I know it is FAR from the Waltham area but trust me -- it is the real deal, straight from Chennai. And no, I am not an investor in or promoter of A2B; I am just a diner who enjoys authentic dining experiences.

We went as a family for saturday lunch. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The sambar was served cold, the idlis were chewy instead of soft and fresh, vada was dense, and the uttapam was undercooked. One of the dosa was served very late. The person had to sit watching others eating. Cleanliness was also an issue—bathrooms were dirty and clearly not well-maintained. Would not recommend unless significant improvements are made in both food quality and hygiene.

Service was pathetic, unfriendly staff, and an unnecessary large party service charge of 20% despite repeated delay in serving food. Mango lassi is a rip off !

We’ve tried Pao bhaji and Indo-chinese cuisines. I haven’t tried such scrumptious Pao bhaji in Boston. Taste was 10/10, and their Chinese was so yummy. The rice they used in their Chinese was of good quality. I have ordered their chai as well, didn’t like it that much.
