All the food is good, but the desserts are heavenly.

Excellent high end meal in Waltham. The mushroom souffle is a signature dish with great sauce. The Tuscan kale ceasar salad is likely the best kale salad I have ever had. The chicken schnitzel main is a bomb of flavor. Strong, attentive service from the staff.

Only gets better with time. Jan 2026 • Family Still remaining one of the top best Italian restaurants around. The stellar staff customer service is amazing. The ambiance, decor and most gracious familial atmosphere is refreshing. The food is superb as always. We were seated in the private round dome room which is magical. Salvatore and his crew served us with grace, kindness and humor. Bravo!!!

This place is very disappointing to someone who is from Italy like myself. I went there the other night with my girlfriend, hoping to get a good Italian male like they have advertised. It was all about that. I will say that the facilities is clean and very nice. The people were nice and polite. The service was decent, but our server had the personality of a field mouse and did not smile once. I have to say the Bolognese was excellent. But my girlfriend had the real scallopini and it tasted like it wasn’t fresh and it had been sitting around in the freezer for a while. We also ordered Appetizer. This was just an appetizer that was on their website that pictured Sabrosada, prosciutto, and cured sausage. It was anything, but that. You had cheap capicola and imported ham, and the rest of the meats did not meet fair quality I thought. For what they charge you for you could go find a better meal elsewhere twice. Not to mention, the menu is lame. They have more seafood dishes than anything. They should just label themselves as a Mediterranean restaurant or a seafood restaurant. Because this isn’t even close to what a real Italian restaurant is. I think these people need to take a trip to Italy and find out what real cuisine in Italy is like. I posted a review on open table and they responded with given my girlfriend a $100 gift certificate and stated that pictures on the Internet, he has no control of. Really? You have no control of what is on your website? That’s Ludacris! And a lie! Quite honestly you never get a second chance to make a first impression. I wouldn’t go back to this restaurant if you paid me and gave me a free meal. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anybody or any of my friends. There are so Many more better restaurants on that strip than this one. Don’t waste your time! This place is trying to be a knock off of the Capriccio’s in Providence. Well, I have some news for them, you’re not even close! You guys aren’t even in the ballpark! Like I said, don’t waste your time or money!

We had a birthday celebration with our family that was in from Napa. What a remakable evening. The staff at the restaurant were all so accomodating and the service as usual was impeccable. The food was so delicious and prepared beautifully. Love the cesar salad done table side. Reminds me of the fine dining I grew up with. If you looking for a very special evening this is the place to go!

We are frequent diners and last night NYE service was rushed and below par. Although the food was good we were rushed in and out on NYE in under an hour. Hoping this is a fluke but very disappointed

Extraordinary food. We had beet salad that was extraordinarily goid. Then a delicious bouillbaise, and finally budino for dessert. Each dish was incredibly good. The greeter and waitstaff were friendly and professional. We liked the decor and surroundings. Could not have been a more positive experience. Perfect. And I don't say that lightly.

Initial service was great until a party of 8 men was seated and the wait staff directed all of their attention to this table. Had to wait 30 minutes to get someone's attention to get our bill. Food was great but the lack of attention spoiled the experience.

If you are looking for an ever changing inspired Italian menu, with light and tasty food, you will enjoy Il Capriccio. Very few places around Boston match this level of quality.

Wine list is inspired. And for those nights, very nice Virgin cocktails.

Short of going to the North End, I would challenge any and all to find an Italian restaurant of finer quality. Located in Waltham, it's nestled on the far end of Main Street - so away from the Moody Street madness, and a gem of a place.

.ore than just your typical red sauce haven. Extremely creative and tasty dishes go beyond the Italian cliches. Veal scalapini was layers of mushrooms, veal, Spinach and other ingredients.

We usually come here in the evening, this being our first time here for lunch. We also introduced another couple to the restaurant. They were duly impressed with the service food quality and ambiance which I knew they would be. Everything was perfect. It will NOT be the last time we are here for lunch. Everything was paced to perfection. Thank you Savlatore and staff for a wonderful afternoon.
