Jaco's is the best dive bar on Moody Street and in Waltham. It's open super late service is always great and it's nice and cozy.

What a cute hole in the wall! We came with a group and they went the extra step and asked everybody their name, did separate bills for the group, and the food was delish! We really appreciated you and everybody LOVED their food!

I live a few blocks away-since it's opening and have only gotten takeout. Never had food I've liked there. I grab something once in a while when other places are closed. To be fair, I'm Italian and VERY picky about food- if you are out drinking on moody and just want to grab something- it's edible It is nice in the summer bc they have outdoor seating where you can people watch on moody- but there's def better food on moody st.

Ordered pickup. The Burger, and hotdog were great and tasted fresh, however the "hand cut fries" were not hand cut. Just unsalted restaurant Depot fries.
Very tiny and crowded place. We had hoped to go for dinner and to listen to music. We had called in advance and they said that they did not take reservations but that there were plenty of open seats. We went right away but when we got there, it was standing room only. The place had less than 10 small tables. Very frustrating. That might work if you just want a drink, but we wanted to eat too. So we left.

Jocos was great! I had a mojito and chicken tacos both of which were awesome. The mojito was strong and yet had a good balance of flavor and the chicken tacos went really well with the guacamole and sour cream I had with them. The atmosphere was upbeat and lively which was perfect for my friends and my outing we were having. I will definitely be back to Jocos again!

One of my favorite bars in Waltham. Over my stay I've had the Chili, Steak Tips, Quesadillas, Wings and the Hot Dogs. I didn't go wrong any time. The beer selection is great (with a couple Maryland beers sprinkled in which won me over). It also helps that the owner of this place is super cool.

Shockingly good burgers, cooked perfectly to order. Good beer list, including a lot of locals and a steady stream of Guinness. The vibe is friendly and casual, would definitely recommend.
