My family and I just returned from the Charles River Chapter of the Bay State Council of the Blind Holiday Party at John Brewers. It’s at least the 12th year we have been going there. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. The food is always good and they provide braille menus. We all had a great time.
I ordered takeout. I had had the chicken parm panini a few weeks earlier which was great so I tried the adult grilled cheese which was actually a glorified toasted cheese sandwich. There was no toast to the bread and the wasn't melted at all. Only redeeming part of meal was tater tots. Very disappointed
We have been dining here since the place opened. The food has always been excellent. The servers always great. A five star family restaurant with affordable prices. PS if you are a Salad aficionado you have to try my favorite "Coalition Salad".
