We made a reservation to Ruth Chris as this was my son's choice to celebrate his 18th birthday. We were markedy surprised to encounter multiple issues from the beginning-- including need to change reservation time due to restaurant request and upon arrival being told that multiple 'classic' menu items had 'run out', including our son's favorite cut of meat and reason why he chose this restaurant. I'm hoping this does not become standard as we've always enjoyed Ruth Chris.

Our waiter, Shawn was very good. Very attentive. The only downfall, is he did not seem very experienced with the menu. Again, he was great!

Food overall was ok mashed was a little bland and not hot. Paid extra to upgrade dessert got a tiny slice of flourless chocolate cake Server was ok but for a place like Ruth Chris with their prices even though we only spent $150 for 2 people I don't expect to get my bill when I get my dessert

When we arrived I had to ask my waiter to clear the two place settings at our table when my wife and I were ordering... even diners do this well. We ordered appetizers and I noticed the sautéed shrimp I ordered were very small compared to all my previous purchases but tasty...and the sides were overcooked . The steak was good as usual.
First time eating out for thanksgiving dinner. We sat at a two person booth where everyone was walking by to go to kitchen and restrooms. The Turkey dinner came out cold. How is this possible? Had to send back to heat up. They brought out hot, fresh dinners. Food was ok. Normally, have steak here and it is unbelievably delicious. Will definitely be back but not for thanksgiving.

We sat in the bar area on Thanksgiving! The food was delicious but the Service was horrible. We sat down and our drink order was taken quickly but then no one came back after that. We were told they would bring bread and that never happened. I had to go up and ask for service after 1/2 hour. It took another 10 minutes for someone to come over and take our order. Finally our order was taken. While we ate no one came over to ask how our meal was. The busser came and took our plates and then no one came to ask if we wanted coffee or dessert. Finally after asking, they brought only a plate of cheesecake but never asked if we wanted anything else. All the while, other tables around us and the bar were being helped. It's a huge disappointment especially when the cost of dining out at Ruth's Chris is expensive. Don't sit in the bar area. The servers are rude and unhelpful.

This was the first time the steak did not meet my expectations. Medium rare filet but with a hard thick crust on one side which impacted the taste. I ended up cutting this off. I Informed one of the assistants to the server, but received no follow-up from management.

We're not going out as often these days. So when we do, it better be worth it. Ruth Chris came through again for a very enjoyable night out. Shawn, our waiter, was there when we needed him and not when we didn't. The food was great as were the cocktails and wine. We have yet to disappointed here.
