I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at La Castellana Bakery. I recently purchased bread and when I got home, I discovered it was moldy! It’s completely unacceptable.
I won’t be returning, and I suggest others think twice before shopping here.

Please check your breads, I bought more than 8+ breads and when I cut them, I realized that they are hard and that they are in the process of aging. (White is a sign of fungus. There are worse breads that I already threw away, but they are breads that are more than 2 days old.)

The energy's chill, the treats are divine, and the prices are reasonable. My partner and I make it a point to swing by at least once a week. We're talking top-notch quality, fresh from the oven. Can't beat the love and care they put into every cake and pastry. This bakery's got soul!

Great!!??
This listed as a Brazilian bakery, but it’s not Brazilian it’s hispanic. I didn’t buy anything but the smell was really good!
Very happy

Tamale with bone in pieces, which could have consequences for a child and pure dough, is what they sell, not at all pleasant.

The interesting thing about Hispanic cultures is that every country has their own way to make the same things. The food was passable, average I would say. I tried the flan, tres leches, and pan dulce. The pan dulce was barely sweet, and drier than usual. The kind of dryness that you really have to gulp down and are afraid to choke as it's going down. The tres leches was well done. The sponge was over mixed and as a result did not retain any of the milk. The flan lacked sugar but I would say it was the best tasting of the three items I tried. I love my people and I love supporting their business but I was immensely let down and disappointed. I wouldn't have left a review if the parking wasn't a nightmare and after running 4 blocks in the rain since I couldn't find a parking spot, all I wanted was authentic tasting and delicious Hispanic pastries, instead I got whole foods tasting imitation Hispanic desserts.
