This is the best pizza place in Waltham. It is delicious and affordable.

This is my first time ever writing a review, and I wish it were a good one — but here we are. I ordered the Everything Calzone, and honestly, it was so bad I feel like Italians would invade the US just to stop stuff like this from being made.
First off, there was broccoli inside. It wasn’t listed anywhere in the ingredients. Broccoli in a calzone makes about as much sense as putting pasta in sushi — it just doesn’t belong, and it tasted weird.
Second, the sausage and mushrooms were not done right. Ingredients like that either need more time to cook or just shouldn’t be there. They tasted half-cooked and off.
Third, why was the tomato sauce on the side? Calzones (and pizzas in general) are supposed to have the sauce inside. Serving it on the side just made the whole thing feel even more wrong.
I respect people running a business, but charging $20 for something like this should honestly be illegal.

Lena’s is primarily a pizza and sub shop that’s been in business since 1945! I’ve tried a variety of menu items: Sicilian pizza (Mediterranean, veggie, and eggplant with fresh mozzarella), pasta dishes, salads, subs, even cheesecake. The food is consistently outstanding - especially at the very reasonable prices they charge. Highly recommended. Don’t be fooled by the very ordinary appearance and humble attitude of the nice people working there. The food is really top notch.

Really disappointed today! Forgot the onion rings that were paid for, soggy floppy fries, not much taste to the pastrami, caprese salad very disappointing, mostly lettuce. Fish sandwich was good. Won't be going back.
I ordered cheese pizza . You can’t go wrong with that . This was by far the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life . I didn’t even know pizza could taste that bad . I think microwaveable pizza is better .

Can't beat Lena's for the quality to price ratio for pizza, getting a legit large pizza with an extra topping for $20 is cheap nowadays, love it, give them more business
I food is way below average. The sausage sub I got was on the bland side. The Italian sub only had 3 thin slices of meat and 2 slice of cheese. That's pretty bad. I hate giving places bad reviews, but unfortunately it's the truth. I don't think I'll ne going back.

Placed an order online and showed up to the store… knock knock… no one was there! The place is run down to start with, the food is okay not great not terrible but I also think I got lucky the few times I ordered here. There are better sub shops around but their hours are somewhat convenient.

Ordered take out and food was really bad. The steak tips dinner was bad, meat was chewy and had weird taste, my dog loved it though. Chicken tenders are not real chicken meat either! Come on! I should have just had the frozen Tyson chicken fingers I had on hand.

I love this place. They’ve been my go to sub place for years now, and the quality is only rivaled by how kind, friendly and just down right sweet the staff are. I never have any issues with the food or the delivery being correct, it’s always speedy, and it feels like someone made the food with care. I highly recommend supporting this business.

Ordered thru DD. Calzone and onion rings. Soooo delicious. Highly recommend.
