Not Your Average Joe's - Waltham

The table and restaurant wasn't the cleanest. The food tasted great. Service, etc were good as well.

Food was great! We had sirloin tips, burger, cheese pizza, Caesar side salad, and chicken Parm. All were delicious, and the bread was amazing too! Lemon drop martini was crisp and so good.

Open on July 4th which was great. Good Service. Chicken on my chopped salad was a bit dried out. Unusual for NYAJ.

What a great place! Our sever was absolutely fantastic and the food was excellent. You should definitely get a dessert too!

Awesome array of food choices! Service was meh. But I dont need a lot of attention. Tried the Nashville hot chicken dip. Only gave us 10 tortilla chips which were stale. Seemed annoyed when I asked for some fresh ones. 🙄

Good drinks, easy food, best bar tenders

We biked there and took outside seating to have the bikes near. This was at noontime. The crab stuffed flounder was very good, but wished it had more crab. The appetitizer was a beef thing that was a bit too salty. Beers were good. Service was good. Always like NYAJ's!

We had a wonderful time. Food and service were excellent. Our wait person was very patient and allowed us lots of time as we were seeing people we had not seen in sometime.

This restaurant has become overpriced- 5 small pieces of seared tuna and a few leaves of lettuce $27. The waiter said the would let the manager know. We never heard from them. Luckily my husband got a lot of mashed potato with his meatloaf so I had something to eat. Used to be my go-to restaurant. Not anymore. At Copper Tavern close by one can get 2-3 times the Tuna salad for $21

Unfortunately, very poor experience on Mother's Day. They totally forgot to bring 2 of appetizers we ordered. Chicken in one of the meals was inedible- all fat and gritty. Had to get up and go inside to find a server to ask for refills on water after waiting 20 minutes with no server in sight. Some meals were cold. Ran out of bread and never got more. Talked to manager about the experience and he didn't even attempt to offer even a slight gesture of complimentary dessert. What is strange as the restaurant was pretty empty- we ate there at 3:00 pm so it was odd such poor service experience. Server was friendly when we saw him but hard to find him.

Our food was delicious and so were the drinks. We had three people with food allergies and they were Very Happy with their choices and their meals, too.

Food: good salads and Poke bowls. Server: nice young person who was very pleasant and efficient. Noise level: not overly crowded on a Tuesday evening. Noise level was low. Enjoyable evening! Thank you.

For my birthday and that of a dear friend, we enjoyed a wonderful, leisurely lunch at NYAJ's in Waltham. Both of us were sent coupons for a discount. We used them individually and ate very well for a very nice price, with a generous tip to the waitress by each of us, based on the original bill.

Two members of the party has the French toast and were quite satisfied. I had the ham & cheese omelet which was also quite satisfying. We also had the mimosas. The glass was a bit small but the drink itself was refreshing.

Great ambience, excellent service, tasty dishes. Just wish the drinks weren't so expensive, or that they made them stronger to make it worth the price (bartender, if you're reading this, a heavy pour is greatly appreciated!)
