Decent food but service was a little slow. Portion sizes were pretty large.

The Birria and carnitas tacos were great. The meat in both was seasoned just right. The charro beans were a great add on the meal. Nice outside seating too.

I had a really bad experience at this restaurant and dont believe I'll go back there again.

We ordered salad and one dish. Both were very salty. Margaritas were too sour. I had a good experience at this place in the past. However, yesterday ruined it completely.

For the price, it is not acceptable to have this bad food. Not sure how come anyone can mess up the salad! It is the easiest dish!

Ambiance and service was good though. No complaints there.

Pricey brunch, but pretty good.

I come here often atleast 2-3xs a month with my sister (it’s our favorite place) the staff is always welcoming. I’ve sat at the bar and the dinning room. For my birthday last month I tried the bottomless brunch and as usual it did not disappoint. This has become not only a quality time well spent as a sisterly thing but now also with my friends. I will always recommend the painted burro. P.S. One of the best 3s Leches ever!!! I sometimes order it just for a pick as dessert for home.

Food was very good, and the portions were small. The option of the bottomless brunch is great because it gives you the option to try almost everything on the menu

Parking: During the weekends the parking lot gets very busy. Is it better if you car pool there, or get ready to walk a little.

Excellent service, beautiful restaurant. Very classy. Food is top notch. The chefs take pride in what they're cooking. Hostess and waitress are very friendly and hard working. Zero complaints.

The food was ok but the beef taco that I had was not good. I couldn't chew the beef. The atmosphere is good, service was also good but the prices are a bit expensive. The thing that I didn't like is I realized 5% additional charge on the bill as "Kitchen Adm Fee". It was not like a tip that is left to customer discretion but directly included in the total bill. We asked what it is and they said it is the tip for kitchen staff. When we said we will deduct it from the total tip they immediately say "please do not do it, we will immediately drop it". They name it as admin fee to make people believe it is not a tip but something else probably but it is like mandatory tip. Come on, be transparent instead of thinking people will not even look at the bill. I can pay tip for the service but kitchen staff should be properly paid by the owner so they would not rely on tips. Therefore, I would not go here again.

The Painted Burro in Waltham is a comfortable restaurant with easy accessibility and ample parking. The service was friendly and efficient. While the fish and vegetarian tacos were small, they were flavorful. However, the ambiance was a bit too loud for my preference.

We had a large group and a very short time frame. Our waiter was amazing at getting us in and out quickly. I had the chicken and the shrimp tacos. The chicken one was ok but the waiter recommended the shrimp and it was fantastic! They also have a great selection of make your own non alcoholic drinks.

The tres leches cake is LIFE-CHANGING. They should serve it with a straw so I don't have to pick up the plate to lick it. But desperate times call for desperate measures...

The food is consistently delicious; you can tell the kitchen staff puts care and thought into everything they do. Even when they are slammed, the food is still so well-executed. Huge portions and a seasonally changing menu keep me coming back over and over and over.

The cocktails are dangerously good. The SPICY margarita is the best I've had since living in Arizona, if not better: balanced & fiery enough to make your brow sweat, makes you go back for more to cool off, and suddenly you've crushed 3.

To top it off, the staff is always accommodating, friendly, and personable. The ambiance is lively but not overwhelming. I haven't had a bad experience at the Waltham PB. Ever.
