I'm such a regular at this place but continue to leave reviews to share the joy. The service at this place is always top notch and it's what keeps me going back. I love the food and need to acknowledge that it's vegetarian friendly even though there are mostly meat dishes. For example, the appetizer of Brussels sprouts comes with bacon but they are happy to leave it off or put on a separate plate. Guacamole is always delicious. And cocktails? Fantastic job. I tend to be a rum drinker but love their tequila and mezcal flights. Highly recommend.

Pricey but plentiful food. It was busy with holiday work parties, so parking was a challenge. Servers are all friendly

A fun evening with work colleagues. Friendly waitstaff, great food, fabulous guacamole. One of our group forgot to mention she cannot eat cilantro, and when her food arrived with cilantro, the waiter nicely took it back and remade the order!! I loved my buffalo cauliflower taco! My first time here and will definitely return.

This place was described to me as a ‘fancy Mexican restaurant and I was immediately in because who doesn’t want to dress up for their margaritas and guac 🥑? As a repeat visitor, I’ve enjoyed learning about tequila as I drink it, having excellent sizzling presentation and the same friendly faces trip after trip. Parking can be a bit tricky depending on day of the week, but there is a parking garage which can have some spots available. Desserts don’t let you down and there’s good decor with a neon sign for your photo ops. If you’re staying at a nearby hotel, walk on over!

Delicious high-quality authentic food. Restaurant is beautiful great for a family meal for a date night. They also have a specious bar.

Estuardo was our server and he took great car of us. We will be back to see him again and enjoy delicious tacos! Gracias Estuardo and the team!

Weekend brunch was lovely We especially appreciated the smaller servings (very tapas like) so that we could in fact have many many many different items from the menu and enjoy all kinds of different flavors.

We enjoyed the burrito and shrimp fajita's. Excellent food, attentive wait staff . Food was ready quickly, entrees served with appetizers instead of sequentially . Pretty loud as it was bustling over lunch hour and we had to lean into each other for conversation, which was fine for a date might make a business lunch harder. Enjoyed our leftovers the next day, too!

This is our 2nd time coming here, the food so good both times! Our waiter, Ludo, was hands down best waiter we have ever had. He went above & beyond for the entirety of our dinner & was so fun, funny, & genuinely such a pleasure!

It's a nice place and our server was great. She was polite, and attentive. The thing I take a bit of issue with is the food. I'm surprised at the rave reviews. The food is actually extremely bland which is difficult to achieve with with Mexican food. Presentation is excellent but if you like Mexican food with typical levels of seasoning this place isn't for you. Otherwise nice atmosphere, good drinks, great service.

Had just gotten into town about 1:30PM on a Friday afternoon for a short weekend stay and found The Painted Burro right down the road from our hotel so we stopped in for a quick bite. We sat at the bar where Amber did a great job helping us into the weekend vibe after flying and driving all day. We enjoyed a Birria Quesadilla and some Guacamole with pork bellies.

Food was good, but experience has gone noticeably down over the last year or so. Their menu has shrunk, and service is mediocre. It took an hour to get a few tacos, and the waiter offered twice to bring chips or water and then promptly forgot. Shame, because it's close and used to be decent. For as expensive as it is, I expect better.

Food quality was very good, their delicate special taco was amazing. I do miss their tortas though.
