Great Indian place in Waltham with excellent service. Some of the dishes like Soya chap were excellent, mysore masala dosa and multani paneer was okay, although the sambhar was more like a veggie stew. Premium prices comparable to NYC standards but good portion sizes. It's a very busy place, seating is a bit cramped, so might have to wait especially on weekends. It's a busy street so parking even at 9.00 PM is a challenge.

It’s a very hip and pretty vibe with a modern menu. The pani puri were good but the Mysore masala dosa was thick and didn’t really nail the flavor. I’d go back and try either the indo Chinese or the northern style

The curry was delicious! We stopped here on a whim and were really happy with our meal. We were running late and called ahead to order, which was ready for us when we arrived. Great naan and mango lassi too.

Food is very weird. Hakka noodles is made with pasta. The spice levels are not tolerable. Excess oil. Portion size is too less for the price. I have tried almost everything on the menu. Some paratha are decent. Thats about it.

There are few items on the menu that are decent. They make good samosas, ghee roast and masala dosa but the onion rava was not at all good in terms of taste or texture. Sambar and chutney were nothing like they they should be- absolutely lacked flavor. Indo-chinese was blah.Chole bhature was satisfactory and so were some of the tandoori items. But the worst thing on the menu is pav bhaji, it's an insult to the idea of pav bhaji, didn't smell or anything like it, and i bet it didnt even have pav bhaji masala in it. Tasted like a some sort of tomato based gravy and was God awful! We had ordered it to go and ended up tossing it ?I really hope they try and get a decent chef who knows to make indian street food. For the prices they charge, they sure need to improve.I would only go here for some of the dosas..maybe.

Had dinner her last Wed. I ordered the Wed, Punjabi special (sarson saag, maki roti, raita, lassi & sweet) and my partner ordered the regular masala dosa. My Punjabi special was excellent. The saag was tasty and not greasy and the maki rotis had the right level of crispness. The masala dosa was good (though we asked for the filling on the side but the dosa still arrived with the filling inside!). The sambar was a cross between a tomato dal and sambar and a bit watery. The chutney was diluted and didn't taste much like coconut chutney. The restaurant really needs to improve its sambar and chutney so it comes closer to an authentic S Indian cafe. Or perhaps, they should stick to offering Punjabi dishes (as the chef is probably from the Punjab). The wait staff were warm and pleasant.

It’s always fun to find a new place that serves dosa without wheat or rava. Many southeast Asians were there so we knew we were in the right place.Because we have so many food allergies, it’s important to find out exactly how much cross-contamination there may be in the kitchen. We were relieved to be served delicious food that didn’t make us regret our choice to try this (new to us) place. We were perplexed, however, with the seemingly rude food service. At first it seemed the waitstaff were prioritizing brown-skinned people and parties. But then as we watched, we realized they just weren’t very good at following standard food service etiquette. (Most of us have learned this from years of waitstaff work.)For instance, we watched two tables who were seated after us, receive their food before we had ours. One of them had their food before we were given a chance to order. Unconscionable in normal circles. We also observed more than once, dirty tables being cleaned when clean tables were available to seat guests, and guests were waiting at the door. That’s when it occurred to us that they may just be less skilled in crush times, or they just don’t care?In any case, it’s pleasant to find a new place for masala dosha that’s not too far away. Once we found some two-person games to play on our phone we were fine with the wait.Dietary restrictions: Gluten, dairy, mushrooms

First truly good dishes we have had in MA. Mix of traditional and unique offerings in a pure veg menu. Truly courteous, respectful and attentive service. Reservations not required but may be helpful to avoid being caught in a rush- the place can get packed.
