The Dutch apple & pumpkin gingersnap ice cream from Pizzi Farm in Waltham was everything cozy fall cravings dream of — creamy, spiced, & absolutely hit the spot. I’ll never get over fall flavors 🍂✨
Staff was excellent! Food was excellent! Service was excellent!
Good place for people who love sandwiches. They have a great selection. Lots of outdoors seating and plenty of parking. They have ice cream with lots of choices. Overall pretty good place.
Call before coming, last time ice cream was closed in the middle of the day until 3pm. So call ahead to make sure.
If you’re going by what’s posted on Pizzi Farm Market & Ice Cream’s Instagram, you may leave disappointed. Luckily, we were already in the area and didn’t make a special trip just for this.
Their page advertises a variety of fall specials that look amazing, but the reality didn’t match up. The shop itself feels run down, and when I asked about the pumpkin cannoli fall specials the worker had to check with someone else to even confirm it existed—only to come back and say it was frozen and unavailable. I also asked about the caramel apple sundae, and again, there was uncertainty about whether it could be made.
I pulled up a photo of their fall specials from Instagram and asked if they could make any of them. After checking the ingredients, the worker said yes, and thankfully, the sundae I ordered turned out to be yummy. The employee was polite and tried to be helpful, but the lack of knowledge and preparation was frustrating.
I’m taking off stars mainly because I’m tired of businesses advertising seasonal specials that staff don’t know about—or worse, can’t make at all. None of the fall items were posted anywhere at the shop, so unless you bring up a photo yourself, you’d never know what’s available.
Maybe things run more smoothly on busy weekends, but my main takeaway is this: stop advertising items you can’t actually serve. If the cannoli is frozen and unavailable, it shouldn’t be marketed.
Great operation with delicious treats. For any of the not-so-obvious flavor names they have a book with descriptions.
Great place usually, but an interesting development ensued. We arrived Sunday afternoon to a long line. A 40 minute line. Now thats not an issue. I knew what I was getting into. It took us 40 minutes to get to the front. There were 4 windows “open”, but two hard working girls actually serving at two windows. Not a big deal. Again this place is good so you know the lines. Each lady was working diligently and they were super friendly and were super quick. We get to the front of the line and go left. The woman in fromt of went right. We start ordering. And we are at the second order and the woman who was in front of is and went to the other window went to the last window to the girl who was suppose to serve her and said can I order. And the girl said im busy. Ok so she walked away with a lot of customers to do something else. Hey maybe she needed a bathroom or a break. But with dozens and dozens of people in line she decides to start crumbling up cider donuts ina tub of cinnamon and sugar. And not just one. Cause maybe she needed one for the next order. But the whole tray, and then got some more donuts in the backroom. I dont know why at that moment in time those donuts had to he taken apart. Maybe she knew the next 15 people were going to order cider donut sundaes. We were really all surprised and the lady in front of us who was now behind was upset. Could have said im going on break etc… but no im busy. There was another employee somewhere in the back because he came out to help someone with propane right away. The ice cream is always good. The frappe isnt made out of a milkshake machine it comes out of a machine that just makes frappes. So you wont see balls of ice cream put ina cup with syrup. It was soooooo good. There isnt plenty of parking ever, especially with the pizza food truck but we always park across the street at theschool. It is handicap accessible. Easy to get to from 95. Plenty of flavors. Although ILL say if you know you’re this good and this popular probably working on staffing. Those girls were working hard. Will continue to drive there from Boston.
Favorite ice cream this summer. It's worth the drive from Boston!

Best ice cream, great location, lots of great flavors yo choose from and nice seating.

We had an awful experience here tonight. Very sad. We’ve come here many times over the years. Icecream looked more like a baby cone and cone fell apart as we drove off. Teach the young kids how to serve an icecream fur what you charge.
It was great the ice cream was good however the prices are deceiving it ended up being much more expensive then I thought which it is very possible that my math was just wrong but im normally only off by a little where as this was almost double what I thought
Thru have over 70 flavors of ice cream, frozen custard, ices, etc.
Absolutely delicious. The ice cream was creamy and flavorful. Really enjoyed the blackberry lemon bar.
Solid ice cream and sandwiches. Prices went up a bit much, but so did everywhere else...
