Best japanese cruisine and restaurant in Boston area. All staffs were great! Awesomely fresh and top quality sushi! 4.5 is under-rated, should deserve much higher rating comparing to other japanese restaurants in the region.

Very good food that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Would come back here again and highly recommended to friends.

The food is good but the service is kinda not. Very polite, but very disorganized. I ordered Chicken Katsu and didn't get the Katsu sauce until 10 minutes after the meal arrived.

I really enjoyed my lunch date here. The vibe is serene, calm and soothing. We appreciated the attentive service. My maki rolls were perfection and beautifully presented! Flowers in my food always makes me smile. Husband got Korean food, his was a great feast. We'll definitely be back.

The best sushi in Boston considering the quality, price, and service. Sushi chef here is quite experienced. Always feels welcoming and friendly customer service.

Worst Japanese food I ever had in my life. Very bad customer service, that Chinese waiter was literally yelling at us when we said the sushi roll taste fishy and smelly. Hope they close down soon, worst dinning experience in boston.

The owner came over to introduce herself and was very friendly. We told her we loved our meal and will be back. My favorite dish is always grilled eel so what I got here was very plentiful, more than usual, and delicious!!! My husband had the squid which was beautifully cut and also delicious. Very broad selection of foods. The appetizers were delicious as well (fried oysters and soft shell crabs).

Each experience we've had here has been wonderful. The flavors are perfectly balanced and the quality of the ingredients is high. The staff are friendly, and we especially love that the owner always remembers us and offers us extra kimchi because she knows how much we love it. Wide ranging menu that offers great options for all, including our kids.

The food was ok, but it took 30 minutes to arrive. Sushi was 5 pieces for 18 dollars. Get your own conclusions. We left hungry and had a sandwich elsewhere.

Always a pleasant experience at Ponzu! The food is excellent, the space is clean and inviting, but, above all, the staff are phenomenal. Every individual working at Ponzu goes out of their way to make their customers feel welcome. They’re just uniformly friendly while giving plenty of space to enjoy the meal. Highly recommended.
