After so many years, today is unexpectedly my first time here. The taste of this place is great, the portions are generous, and the service is top-notch. The dry-fried green beans, pork elbow, and loofah are all good choices. However, the sweet and sour mandarin fish is too sweet for my taste. For parking, you can try Pine St or Cresent St, but don't count on finding a spot on Moody St.

We are very sad that the food is not fresh even though the dishes are authentic. The shrimps smell like they have been rottened. We used to come frequently when it first opened. Then we stopped coming because their food can be hit or miss. After more than a year, we returned again with disappointment.

My family dined here recently. It is an average Chinese restaurant and I was not impressed. 小笼包 and 腌笃鲜are great。The rest we ordered were just so so. Not much eel in the 响油鳝丝, probably 80% was 笋丝 and 20% was eel. 丝瓜dish was worse than what I cooked myself. The price is OK and service is adequate. There were better Shanghai cuisine in Boston area, for example 十八鲜 石库门 that were way better. I will not come again.

Came here during lunch and the food was very fulfilling. A taste of Shanghai, flavorful, and delicious. Everyone was so kind, def worth a visit! It wasn’t busy during lunch on the weekends. If you’re looking for some authentic shanghainese food, you’ve found it!

The food were great and service was good. The crab rangoons have decent amount of fillings. The pan fried buns took a longer time to come out than expected but was worth the wait. The pan fried noodles with chicken tasted good. The shrimps with vegetables are good, suited my taste. The prices are also decent for the amount of food you'll get.
The decor and setup inside is simple yet very authentic, as if in China. The tea and noodles (I had Shanghai noodles with chicken) were exceptionally delicious!

Delicious but just a warning....if you aren't into Hot & Sour soup with a big kick, don't order it. I personally enjoy spicy H&S, so for me, it was very delicious. Their entrees were tasty with the right blend of spice & flavor.

Delicious native Shanghai foods, more eating foods than average. Excellent service and friendly owner. I liked dining in the cuisine.
