The food was barely average. Their "famous" raviolis were really blend. I am almost sure they were frozen.Let's talk about the waitresses. One was saying she made the other ones sick by sneezing on the food when customers were still having diner.I would not recomment

Our server Angel was charming, attentive, and efficient. As always. The food was great; in particular the eggplant parm.

Wonderful dinner with family and 10 month old! Had the toasted ravioli, the trio special, chicken Parmesan, regular ravioli, and veal Francese. Excellent server! First time we have dined in. Highly recommend The Chateau!

This was a small event and The Chateau did a fine job of bringing out their classic dishes. All were served at the same time and the room worked well for the group of 30.

We used to visit the Chateau all the time as kids and when we grew up. This used to be the go to Italian restaurant in Waltham for years. We went Friday night and were extremely disappointed in the quality and quantity of the food. Ordered the Italian antipasto, size was horrible and the offerings on it were few except lettece and that was not a lot. For the price totally not worth it. Also had the fried seafood platter and the fried clam platter. Both had no taste, were small servings and seemed to be cooked in old oil. We decided we will not be visiting for food again after this last experience.

This place is old-school Italian American at its very best. Sitting at the bar, you are transported back to late 70's and early 80's...with Keno! The meatballs were outstanding. I can only imagine what the pasta meals are like! Thumbs up for me!

We have not been in the area for years. So glad to know the restaurant is still in business and the food did not disappoint. I had the chicken Marsala which was bursting with flavor and my husband had the chicken Alfredo which was creamy and flavorful. A friendly wait staff and reasonable prices made for an enjoyable dining experience. We will be back this way in April and bringing along several family members and friends.

This used to be one of our favorites for lunch on Sundays when they had a location in Westborough. We were in Waltham today and decided to do a throwback meal. I was excited to get my once favorite lunch. The parking lot is huge so that is a plus, especially in downtown Waltham. We were greeted right on entering and seated in a booth in the bar area. All good. Out came the almost half a loaf of Italian bread and butter packets. Yum. I veered away from my favorite lunch and ordered the meatball sandwich and onion rings. Here's where it went sideways. Onion rings were tasteless. Sandwich was OK. My husband had the bolognese which was good. Service was slow, as in not attentive, rather than not enough staff. Servers were chatting over by the server area, it took a little eye contact to get them to return to the table. I noted the table behind us had a shared appetizer that was delivered after they asked about it. It was then delivered after their meals arrived. Ambiance is old school booths, dark wood, plastic cups but all good with me. Keno screen right at your table if that is your thing.
