We went yesterday for my birthday and it was great! Great tea selection and the owner, Robin really makes the experience. All the food was awesome and we all could have probably eaten a tray of the yummy egg sandwiches. This is a higher price afternoon tea and it takes a little longer but for a special occasion I enjoy that we weren't rushed. We were the only ones in the restaurant and it was very intimate. Robin took many pictures and I loved that she has a doorbell/buzzer for security.

This was a lovely afternoon tea worth $30-$40. But our final per person price was $93, with included gratuity. Though the experience was enjoyable and the food was good, it didn’t live up to the very high price compared to other tea houses in the area.

My children and grandchildren surprised me with an 85th birthday celebration at The Tea Leaf. The whole experience was Terrific from the friendly professionalism of the server, to the quality and presentation of the "edibles", to the beautiful teapots, and tea plates and the variety of the tea selections. There were 13 of us and the only guests there at the time which added to the "private dining "experience. I have never had such a perfect birthday celebration.
The Tea Leaf was the perfect venue for a business lunch! The food (and of course, tea) was delicious!!! Will definitely be back!!

The first time I visited The Tea Leaf I vowed never to return, but it is under new ownership and definitely has improved. The shop is sleeker with less stuff but has the added ambiance of an ever-changing art gallery. Both the house-made savories and the out-of-house sweets were delicious and there were a substantial amount of teas from which to select. The service by the owner was pleasant and attentive. She wanted to know what we thought of some new recipes. Real china and linen napkins are used. Reservations should be made via email and the owner asks about allergies and gives detailed info. Go check it out for something a little different. My companion told me it was exactly like what she found in England.
A wonderful tea experience ❤️

Service was very slow even though we had reservations and not crowded. Tea came immediately, but we drank multiple cups before food came. Food was average to below average. Some items tasted stale; no butter or clotted cream with scones. We got 1 order "to go" as person was sick and couldn't make it. We had requested vegetarian order. Discussed 3 times with Tea Leaf staff- twice on phone and once in person when we got there. When we got home, we realized the "to go" order was not vegetarian and did not include all the items that were served for the "onsite" vegetarian tea. Price was the same.

great tea and food, amazing staff, had a great time
I did not realize that reservations were required, but our host graciously accommodated us. The service and food was very good. My wife and I will definitely return, with a reservation next time! I highly encourage others to do the same.
Beautiful space with great local art and delicious locally make tea cakes and desserts.
Had a wonderful time with some friends at The Tea Leaf today. We enjoyed the ambiance, the service was excellent, the food was delicious. We did the High Tea experience, and there was a large variety of teas that we tried and enjoyed. My friend who is gluten free was well taken care of as well with multiple savory and sweet options (we called to request some gluten free options in advance). My favorites were the sandwiches and the scone with jam. Overall had a lovely time!
