We went yesterday for my birthday and it was great! Great tea selection and the owner, Robin really makes the experience. All the food was awesome and we all could have probably eaten a tray of the yummy egg sandwiches. This is a higher price afternoon tea and it takes a little longer but for a special occasion I enjoy that we weren't rushed. We were the only ones in the restaurant and it was very intimate. Robin took many pictures and I loved that she has a doorbell/buzzer...
This was a lovely afternoon tea worth $30-$40. But our final per person price was $93, with included gratuity. Though the experience was enjoyable and the food was good, it didn’t live up to the very high price compared to other tea houses in the area.
My children and grandchildren surprised me with an 85th birthday celebration at The Tea Leaf. The whole experience was Terrific from the friendly professionalism of the server, to the quality and presentation of the "edibles", to the beautiful teapots, and tea plates and the variety of the tea selections. There were 13 of us and the only guests there at the time which added to the "private dining "experience. I have never had such a perfect birthday celebration.
