Great food, Tom Yum ramen was delicious. Not over powering, just the right flavors and texture. Will definitely come back!

I am sad to write this review as my friends and I were huge fans of this restaurant after our first visit. We were greeted with friendly
service, the food was great and the atmosphere was nice. Today we got in and the tv was blaring and then turned off, then they had very loud unfitting music. We asked if they had a previous menu item we really enjoyed and we got little to no response leading us to try something we hadn’t had before. The vegetable gyozas were good. The other app we got came out much different than expected based on the menu description. Out of three of us none of us enjoyed it. When we mentioned it to our server and she just took the plate and walked away without saying anything. Following that, two of us asked for the spice for our soup on the side which had been done for us in the past at this exact establishment. She said yes and came over with the spice in the soup. We let her know and she just said that it comes in the soup and walked away again. We proceeded to eat since she made no effort to help. The ramen was good but the katsu was very tough with little to no flavor. Very disappointing. It doesn’t end there. We got the bill and the server left the uneaten appetizer on it. When we kindly asked if she could remove it she said she couldn’t. Then proceeded to ask what appeared to the chef and they both said we couldn’t do it. I didn’t want to fight with them so I agreed to pay. When we presented her with our cards to split the bill she walked away for a few minutes and came back - dropped or even smacked the check onto the table with the appetizer taken off. I gave her one card just so I could get out of there as soon as possible. Unfortunately I will not be back there. So sad when you know the place is capable of so much better. As a server myself I know that mistakes happen, but the lack of effort and even lack of response was so disappointing.

We both got the tonkatsu ramen. There was about an 1/8 inch of fat on the surface. I do love fat in food but this was way too much. Please skim the fat a bit more! You can still see the fat globules in the bowl even after skimming the fat ourselves (see plate).

I was pleasantly surprised by this ramen chain, as it far exceeded my expectations. Initially, I had doubts—not only because it’s a chain but also due to the new type of ramen house atmosphere. The bar-like setting with loud music and vibrant lights didn’t resemble the traditional Japanese ramen house experience, but the food more than made up for it.
I tried the signature ramen, priced at $17. While the ramen itself was nothing particularly special, the tonkotsu base was rich and flavorful, closely resembling Japanese tan-tan men with its sesame paste and spicy oil influence. The noodles were a bit thicker than typical tonkotsu, but still enjoyable. I suspect they might be from Sun Noodle, which is a plus and likely a favorite for many!
The dish also came with pork cutlets, which, while good, didn’t stand out much. The cutlets were thinly sliced, with a drizzle of tonkatsu sauce, and were satisfying but not remarkable. However, the combination of ramen and cutlets made for a filling meal, and at $17, it felt like a reasonable deal, especially in today’s economy.
The bar-like vibe, with its energetic music and lighting, might not suit everyone—some kids may enjoy the fun atmosphere, while others might not—but I’ll definitely be back to try more of their offerings.
Parking: There is a decent amount of street parking available, although it tends to be quite busy. Additionally, there are parking lots on the other side of Moody Street.

We went there on Thursday night around 9:20pm. Only one table of customers inside. Food serving is fast. The Tom Yum Ramen and Gyudon were delicious. I wish the portion is bigger. Maybe we were too ? hungry, it disappear very soon.

Would NOT recommend. The ramen is poor quality; the noodles are overcooked, the broth is under seasoned, and they skimp on meat servings too. There are plenty of other Japanese places around and literally every single one is better.

Their Ramen is spicy. If spicy isn't to your taste, ask your server for mild spice.
