“First time here and it did not disappoint. The place seems small from the outside but it is actually quite spacious with many tables. It was busy in there and after tasting my latte I instantly understood why. One of the best coffees I've had to date! Went with the coconut cream latte with mocha drizzle and oat milk. Also so a chicken pesto on a garlic bagel and it hit all the right notes. It was flavorful, cheesy, and satisfying. Each bite had me craving more. This little cafe really knows what they are doing!“

Gone Country Creamery Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt • $
245c Main St, Wareham

“At 7:45 last night my husband and I decided we wanted some ice cream. We looked online and found Gone Country Creamery was open till 9. We arrived close to 8 and got really delicious creamy ice cream. I commented that we appreciated her being open (so many already closed for the season) and she said oh I was just about to close (open till 9 in summer). She was lovely and stayed a bit longer to accommodate us! And she’s open all winter!!!!“

“Love this place... I have a sweet tooth and the pastries here are ultra sweet and rich (My favorite is the gooey pecan butter bars). They use real buttercream on their cupcakes which is the best. And, the staff is friendly and always willing to answer questions.I even ordered a Funfetti cake from here for my brother’s birthday this past summer, and while on the pricier side, it was bigger than I expected and looked absolutely flawless. Was delicious too!“

“Delicious breakfast! The menu has many options to choose from. I would definitely recommend the pancakes, hash , and omelettes. The cornbread was not with the upcharge of $3. Food came out really fast, despite how busy they were (30 minute wait on Sunday morning) The waitress was very friendly. It has such a cozy atmosphere, like you're in a New Hampshire log cabin!“

“Walrus & Captain doesn't disappoint in their fried chicken sandwich seasoned with Peri-peri and topped with Asian slaw on a brioche bun. It was great even after a ten minutes drive home for this carryout order. Will be back to dine in! Stoked about the Croque Monsieur.Good vibes, I snagged the last parking spot; luckily for other patrons was I only carrying out huehuehuehue“

Becky's Bakery Bakery • $$
441 Shore Rd, Monument Beach - 6.2 miles

“This small little bakery is worth venturing off your path, especially if you have a bit of a sweet tooth like I do. We got a few assorted cookies, a cream cheese danish, a triple berry muffin, the ham & cheese filled croissant, the spinach & feta croissant, and a magic bar. All told we spent about $25 for the lot.The do serve coffee, but we didn't get any.To start with, the cheese danish was one of the best I've ever had in my life. It wasn't dense, pasty, sugar like most places, it was light, and airy and still retained that cheese flavor without being over powered by the sugar. Absolutely superb. If you try nothing else, get the cheese danish. The savory croissants were quite delicious; however, they needed to be reheated. A few minutes in the oven and they were good to go.The cookies were good cookies and the triple berry muffin did not disappoint. Definitely will be visiting again. This is definitely a to-go spot FYI. There are two small tables outside for seating, but nothing inside. Purely counter service. As for parking, there isn't much, but there's some empty space on the grass across the street that everyone seemed to be using.“
