Mighty Squirrel Biergarten - Arsenal Yards Beer Gardens • $
102 Arsenal Yards Blvd, Watertown

“Thank you for coming to Arsenal Yards!!! What a nice edition to this family friendly area. My family and I have been pleasantly surprised by Mighty Squirrel and have visited this place many times.

First, I love the ambiance of this place. It’s so big and open. I love their outdoor space. I’ve only been here in the summer, so I’ll be interested to see how they’ll use their space in the wintertime.

Second, the beers and other beverages are so yummy!!! I love that you can get small versions on most of the beers. I also love that they serve coffee and fresh juices. What a treat for any occasion. Their food is pretty good too … especially their fish tacos. They are craveable and better than most taco places!!! I do wish, however, they had some flatbread options. That would really make this place amazinggggg!!!

And last and most importantly, their service is impeccable. They get pretty busy but have always tried to accommodate seating. I also superrrrr appreciate that they are baby/toddler/kid friendly. Like … so patient and no dirty looks. You’d be surprised how many places automatically judge you when they see a stroller pull up. This really makes this place shine and stand out cuz honestly, who needs a a drink with a nice vibe more than moms and dads of kiddos.“

“Fun spot for a drink. I will say this spot does get slammed on nice days in the summer at 5pm, as everyone and their mother is coming after work with their coworkers for a drink.

The staff is incredibly kind, and once when two kegs were kicked while I was trying to get a drink they gave me the partially filled drinks for free while getting me a full drink.

Drinks are standard price to most other places. Bathrooms on site, and lots of seating/standing options - my friends and I were trying to guess how many could fit in here and we had guesses between 100 and 400 people so take that as you will. However 4/5 stars cause even with all these tables there are many times when I've seen people unable to even get a table, regardless a standing one. Just suffering from success I guess.“

“Service gets 1 star because you pour your own beer from tap, and you pick up your own food when it’s ready. Because there is no food service you don’t have to tip. Every time I goit’s the manager who give the beer cards and I know the managers and kitchen staff is getting paid at least minimum wages.

Parking: It’s surrounded by apartments and businesses which have their own parking. You can park at alewife’s garage and walk.“

“The Cambridge Smoke food was very delicious! The Honey Old Bay wings, Teriyaki wings, mac and cheese (y'all have to try it), fried haddock and French fries were so good I had another order to go! This food is cooked with love ❤️. I can't say enough how good it was. The drink at the beer garden, strawberry margarita was also tasty and hit the spot!“

“First visit, so we got two of their specialty flights, each containing four small pours of their local beer, chosen especially for summer time. One flight was IPA focused, and had a range of moderate hoppiness, along with one juicy, in-your-face over hopped wonders. The other flight featured a delicious raspberry sour beer, plus an addictive "brewtini" beer cocktail. Service was so friendly and welcoming, and I liked their outdoor beer garden. We brought lunch from a neighborhood restaurant.“

“Great ambiance and during the summers I really enjoyed the salsa and bachata nights on Mondays. Got to catch some really nice sunset while dancing with good music and kind people. The staff were always kind. There is lots of outdoor seating and it got pretty busy sometimes. They had some performances too.

Parking: There is not much street parking nearby. The nearest garages are pretty expensive.“

“Just had our first visit to Charlie's Kitchen under its new management. Still has the casual burger and wings vibe, but with a more eclectic American menu. We had the Wagu burger, chicken wings with Japanese curry sauce and the incredible Hawaiian chicken salad...all fresh and delicious! The wait staff were all super friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be stopping by any chance we get, especially as the weather warms up and the beer garden opens!“
