Decent boba shop with deserts for a pinch. Pricey compared to more established shops and not as good as independent shops in Allston. It’s just okay. I’m only giving it 3 stars because the lady that was making my order was coughing the entire time. Desserts are on the pricier side too. I paid 8.24$ for this standard size boba and that’s including tip and tax.

Food was discussing but that service wasn't too bad there's really nothing that good about this except good decoration and not horrible service. Also the straw part is very confusing

The cupcakes all melted in 10 mins. This was for a Christmas party. It was only 10 mins walk to work and everything melted. I really want to know what kind of icing they were using. I will never order anything from this bakery.

I found Chit Cha randomly after looking for something to satisfy my boba craving after having lunch in the area. This place has a humble storefront (very much mom-and-pop vibes) with a simple, cute interior. There is plenty of street parking, but no indoor seating aside from a small bar along the window. There was only one person working when I went.I decided to go with the Dragon Kiddo, which made the Top 10 list. It was definitely different compared to what other boba places typically offer, but I wouldn't say it was mind-blowing since the ingredients are things that you would traditionally find in Asian desserts (red bean, grass jelly, tapioca). I still enjoyed the drink overall because the toppings were fun to chew, but I felt like it was too pricey for the quality (over $10).

The bubble tea is amazing, and the K-Pop playlist adds a fun vibe to your visit.

I would say it is one of the best Asian Milk Tea in the great Boston area. I strongly recommend taro milk tea and taro cake. As an Asian, I always had too sweet cakes and milk tea else where. I order 100% suger and ice taro milk tea and it is just fit! Not too sweet is the greatest compliment in Asian sweeties.

we got the strawberry box cake. it was good, but nothing special. the woman working there was very sweet and helpful, especially when we were having a hard time deciding which box cake to get. our experience w/ the cake was mediocre. perhaps boba is more of their specialty, which we may try next. it was an overall decent experience--but likely won't return here.

Update: I've been here several more times, and I've found that their consistency is lacking. Sometimes the drinks are too sweet, sometimes not sweet at all. In addition, I've had really stale boba a couple times. Chit Cha's pastries (especially the mochi) are still a great reason to visit this place.Original review:So wonderful that a boba store has finally opened in Watertown! ChitCha is a super cute storefront serving bubble tea and a variety of baked goods. Located close to Watertown center, it's great to have access to a diverse menu of teas and fruit drinks. So far I've tried the classic Bubble Milk Tea, the Uji Matcha Latte, and the Taro and Strawberry Swirl drinks. Every drink has been satisfying, and the bubbles are nice and chewy.I would recommend getting 100% sugar on their drinks (as someone who usually gets 50% or less at other boba stores), as they don't over sweeten their drinks. They have oat milk options, which is a nice touch for those who are avoiding dairy. They have quite a few options in the baked goods, including cakes, cupcakes, cream mochi, cookies, and that's all I've seen so far (they've switched things out the couple times I've been). The staff is very friendly, and even gave us a free sample of some of the baked goods! The decor is cute and whimsical. There's not much seating space inside.Overall, I'd definitely recommend going to Chit Cha, especially since it's the first bubble tea spot in Watertown. With the fierce competition across the river in Allston, I'm hoping that this will inspire more bubble tea spots to open in Watertown, and Chit Cha is definitely above average from what I can tell so far.

2nd visit to try other drinks. Their Lychees Rose was refreshing at 75% sweet and less ice. Thier purple lemon tastes like lemonade, I would not get it again, as $10 is too pricey for lemonade. My favorite so far is thier dragon kiddo.
