Braised short rib entree was a generous portion with broccoli that was tender but not over cooked and tasty mashed potatoes to boot. Service was attentive in refilling our iced tea. First time for me and I expect to be back.

15-minutes after putting our order in they return to inform my wife (who is celiac) they are out of GF burger buns, so they put her luke warm burger (after another 10 minutes) in a GF wrap (not so great). My Ruben was sub par. Service started out good and was non existent by the end…never came to refill water or check in, and I had to ask the food runner to take my credit card (20 minutes and never saw the waitress).
Used to be a nice neighborhood pub, not so much anymore.

It's a loud sports Bar with several screens spread across two rooms. Occasionally music is played at one end. The burgers are generally very good although my last time there I vomited the whole night; I got the impression that the beef patty was a frozen one and that may have been the reason.

A Hidden Tax on Your Meal – Shameful Business Practice
If you’re considering dining here, be warned: this restaurant has the gall to tack on a 3% “kitchen administrative fee”—a charge as insulting as it is opaque. Let’s be clear: this isn’t a service fee, it’s not a gratuity, and it’s certainly not optional. It’s a sneaky surcharge that punishes the customer for the owner’s failure to properly pay their staff or balance their books.
Imagine ordering a $100 meal, and without any explanation or added value, they slap on an extra $3 for the privilege of… what? Ensuring the cooks do their jobs? Managing their own internal payroll? That’s not my responsibility. That’s the cost of doing business—not a burden to shift onto diners under a vague and misleading label.
What’s worse, this cowardly fee often appears in tiny print or is buried in the fine details, revealed only when the bill arrives. It’s dishonest, manipulative, and erodes trust. If the kitchen deserves more compensation, raise your prices transparently and stand behind them. Don’t disguise your overhead as a surcharge and hope customers are too polite—or too confused—to complain.
To the owners: running a restaurant means managing your own costs, not passing them off piecemeal like airline baggage fees. Until this extortionist policy is abolished, I’ll be taking my appetite—and my money—elsewhere.
Lunch, do it! Food and space for itself.
Best tenders in Boston. Cheap beer. Strong drinks.
Great food and affordable price. Good customer service 👍
Happening place especially for a Celtics game!

Great ambiance and good food
Overall decent food but the up charges are insane and not disclosed on the menu. For example, the Pastrami was $16.95 and you had the choice of American or Swiss. It said +$1.00 for peppers and onions. When we got the check, we were billed $16.95, plus $1.75 for cheese, plus $2.00 for onions, plus $2.00 for peppers. The upcharges are ridiculous... If they were on the menu or disclosed by the wait staff because the menu is outdated maybe I would understand and order something different.
