Oh my goodness. I'm only halfway done and I feel I MUST rate this place right now! First, be aware of the hours. They are not open all hours of the day. But, wow, the red glazed pork is one of the most wonderfully divine foods I've put in my mouth! So hot, juicy and flavorful. I was offered to taste samples (the host was so very nice) of a few items, I wanted this, tasted this and immediately ordered. Served over a bed of white rice, the juices just soak in and every bite is an intense pleasure. Gosh, I sound hokey and made up. I'm being serious as a heart attack. To top it off, I added optional green beans and those were very delightful, too! Well cooked with a nice snap and awesome buttery flavor, they were the perfect topping to break up the pork nirvana. You can bet I'll be back. The hard part will be trying other dishes instead of just having this over and over.

The service I got from Natalie when I went into Flavor boom was impeccable! She went over the menu with me, helped me decide on the burgundy beef with green beans, potatoes, and rice. The food was beyond scrumptious!I will definitely be back, and have already sent my friends and family! Thank you Natalie!Dietary restrictions: Almost every dish is gluten and or dairy freeParking: Parked right in front on Arsenal St, there's plenty of spots on both sides of the streetKid-friendliness: Every dish can be made kid friendly in a smaller version for only 7 bucks!Wheelchair accessibility: Door is directly on the sidewalk, no steps

This is one of the places I visit often, food is delicious and employees are friendly except one. I would give a 5 star review if they don’t have one of the dude who always give tiny portions of food and no smile on his face, it feels like I owe him money.

Food is delicious. I love the eggplant and rice. I do think that sizes are in the small size for the price, and not too keen on paying extra for 5 beans. However, I really think the food is good.

Edit: I was charged for an order from their Jamaica Plain location as well as the one I placed in their Watertown location. It's clear their kiosk system is not safe. I would only use cash here.Important info: if you are ordering I'm the restaurant, there are 2 kiosks to the right of the entrance as you walk in.Portion-to-price ratio is about right for this area.Thai Tea: light, with little tea flavor, but it was pleasantly sweet without being only sugar water.Tiramisu in a cup: saved me from the heat of my entrée. Thick layer of cream on top, almost butter tasting. A 1cm layer of soaked sponge on the bottom of the cup. Didn't punch with coffee flavor. The buttery whip and sugar were the main players.Spicy Chicken Karahi: They don't play with the heat on this. If it was a star-based spice rating between 1 (no spice) and 5 (mouth numb, bordering on torture), I'd say it's default is on the border of 3 and 4 stars. Chicken itself didn't have much flavor but texture was tender, the rice clumped like dried out rice on its last leg tends to do, and the green beans tasted similar to freezer bag steamed veggies in that they were slightly under with no seasoning.Price aside, I expected to be hit with flavor based on the name of the restaurant being "Flavor Boom!" Flavor Blip might be a better name...I'd try it again if I was in the area. It wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out.

I ordered family portions of the eggplant zaalouk and the beef rendang. Both were WAY too salty for my taste, and I usually like a lot of sodium. I recommend steering clear of the rolls and getting the rice. You're going to need it to dilute the saltiness. We went through two pitchers of water before the end of the meal. Also, be aware that the "family" portions are barely the equivalent of two large portions, so they will definitely not be enough to feed more than two adults. I was disappointed to find that the rice barely filled 3/4 of one container...not enough.Other than that, I felt that the food had good quality ingredients, and was not as oily as the competition.

Tiny portions, flavorless steamed veggies, you order from an iPad that adds 10% tip by default. Seems like this place is loaded with fake reviews, food very mediocre, won't ever go back.

I was so pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem! The food is outstanding, the place is spotless and bright, and the service was welcoming and cheerful!Natalie suggested I get boomin beef rendang- and boy was that the best suggestion I've had all day. The beef was melting in my mouth, the spices were never like I've had before- so aromatic and melding incredibly well with the braised beef, potatoes, and rice. And to top it off this dish is both gluten free and dairy free! I'm bringing my son back tonight to get dinner! The prices are more than ok, and Natalie was so helpful and sweet, and on point, that I feel like I made a friend as well! Awesome stuff Flavor-Boom!!!!Go see this place! It's right on Arsenal st halfway to Target!

Food was delicious. Staff was very sweet. Music is chill and the place is nice and clean. I recommend the Boomin' Beef! Think Pot Roast but more rich. It came apart to the touch the was so savory and warm. My friend got the Tangy Tamarind Chicken. It was also super soft and melted in the mouth. I'll be back next time I am in town.

I am so glad Flavor Boom Boom opened up a second location in Watertown! They have a small parking lot of the side. I got the shrimp curry and it was pretty good. You get a good amount of shrimp and rice. I wish there was some sauce on the side but overall, amazing!

The perfect quick lunch spot! I thought the flavors were so delicious, and to top it off, it came out within 5 minutes of me ordering! Tasted like a home made meal. Will definitely be stopping back on another work lunch break.
