La Bodega is a very special spot with beautiful decor and an incredible vibe. The space is unique, featuring a lush greenhouse and a view of a steel train car through the glass. The staff is extremely nice and hardworking, making the experience even better. Guests enjoy a variety of delicious food, including empanadas, grilled octopus, and mushrooms, with everything feeling fresh and made with love. The cocktails are well crafted and interesting, and the bar offers unique drinks like Jamaican Pilsner. Portions are small, so ordering a few dishes or tapas is recommended, especially if not sharing. The octopus is nicely charred, and the clever tapas often include unexpected twists like chimichurri. The Local Farm Corn Soup, Wood Grilled Poussin Chicken, and Wood Grilled Pork Sausage are highly praised. The duck, which must be requested 48 hours in advance, is fantastic and highly recommended. The meat plate with sausage, ribeye, and chicken is juicy and satisfying. The Fig Infused Bourbon Old Fashioned cocktail is a hit, and the Alfajores are delicious. Though some dishes can be average, the overall experience is enjoyable and worth visiting, especially for its atmosphere, quality food, and friendly service.
