One of my new favorites in the greater Boston area. Really good Kebabs and salad. I loved the small restaurant, authentic feel.
Some construction going on in July 26, so it can be a bit tricky to find the door to get inside.
Anyone looking for flavorful fusion cuisine should definitely try it.
I was so impressed by the culinary creativity and staff kindness. Everything was fresh and delicious. Please do not let some of the reno work in/around the restaurant deter you - it's a must visit for any one who appreciates good food!
This place is a very hidden gem! Despite the construction taking place, outside, the atmosphere and delectable cuisine inside are wonderful. Highly recommend!
First time and it was a delightful experience. We entered at the same time as a wedding dinner was being served. Expected there might be delayed service, but it wasn’t very long and once we ordered the food came out in a timely manner. The chef apologized for the delay, but we were able to chat and enjoy our appetizers leisurely. We ordered the jerk chicken and kofta kebabs. Everything was delicious. Nice ambiance and we enjoyed our dinners .
The food here is always so delicious and the chef owner always comes out to ask how everything was and thanks us for coming in. I love the setting. Hard to believe this place isn't packed, but it was nice to have a place to catch up with two friends and the warm breeze wafting through the open windows. LOVE this place!
Delicious food, prepared with care & love. I had a jerk chicken & plantain wrap — highly recommend. For dessert, key lime pie — out of this world. Excellent service & atmosphere.
5 of 6 people ordered the jerk chicken wrap and each person loved it. Very airy atmosphere at lunch made for pleasant conversation. Good beer (draft and bottled), too. Highly recommend me
I had a small group birthday gathering in the private dining room at Nzuko and we felt so well cared for by Laurette and her staff. They went above and beyond to make the evening special including welcoming us, answering each guests questions about the items on the menu and checking in to make sure we enjoyed our meal. This was all done with such genuine warmth and caring. Nzuko was so accommodating to special dietary requests.
The food was so flavorful and delicious. It is clear that Laurette takes so much pride in Nzuko and, puts so much love and care into the food she makes.
Nzuko is a neighborhood treasure.
We are looking forward to returning.
The chicken wings and Caribbean chicken are a must try here!! The chicken fell right off the bone and the service was fantastic; very attentive staff.
This is definitely a trip worth to make to Watertown. The flavors of Nzuko dishes hit my palate perfectly. The chef has unique flavor combinations and tons of signature secrets. Worth the trip!

Lovely place, great food, and wonderful service. Hummus and chicken wings were super tasty. We tried the lamb shank and branzino, both prepared well. Portions are generous. Great all around.
Nzuko epitomizes the Watertown renaissance. It's creative and stylish, with an owner-chef who really knows her craft. The fusion is Caribbean and Mediterranean, with a hint of Africa, so you are not in Asia here. We had the jerk chicken and the grilled prawns, elegantly prepared, flavorful with a sophisticated mix of spices, and as fresh as could be. Dessert was a delicate and tasty Basque cheesecake. The beer and wine list reflects similarly original and excellent judgment.
Reserved a table for Mother's Day and it went great. The service and the food were excellent. The rum cake was the best.
Unique restaurant serving a fusion of Caribbean and Mediterranean food. A little off the beaten path but well worth a visit. Overall food was well executed and delicious! Highlights include Hummus, plantains, falafel. Plenty of meat dishes but also seafood and non-meat/vegan; great place for variety of tastes. Service was friendly and relaxed.
We had to wait over an hour for food and were charged prior to services being rendered. So we couldn't leave. We were offered a prefixed menu with limited choices and even through the menu said we could order off menu for an extra charge, we were told we could not. The meal came to $222 with tax and tip. I paid $222 for rice in a bell pepper and some ribs that took forever to come and tasted average. This place was awful and I regret going here.
