We made a quick, unplanned stop here while visiting family in the area and had a wonderful experience. All dishes were wonderfully prepared with interesting blends of flavors and textures. Prices are very fair for portion sizes and quality, and the service was outstanding. Our server and host was incredibly warm and gracious and made us feel like family while we dined. I don't write a lot of reviews, but Shiraz made a lasting positive impression on our whole family and I hope that others can give them a try and enjoy a unique and memorable dining experience!

Was dropping my wife off at Logan airport on Sunday 6/2 and wanted to get some Chelo Kabob to bring 2 hours back home for different family members. For some background, I do write positive as well as negative reviews and I have made and eaten Persian food for over 35 years. I ordered multiple orders of Beef and Chicken Soltani as well as an order of Beef Barg. On the positive side, the rice was edible but barely. On the negative side, nothing else was. The beef barg was tasteless, dry, and had a tinge of a sour taste to it like vinegar has been added to it or it was very old meat. The chicken barg was dry and tasteless as well. It did not seem that the meat was marinated at all. I have no idea how the Kubideh (Beef and Chicken) was made. Like the barg, they had no taste at all and the consistency seem to indicate that some type of filler was used. The tinge of vinegar was also present. I spent $200 with tip and we ended up dumping most of it in the trash. I am embarrassed that I brought this stuff to my relatives. The food I got was not indicative of how delicious Persian really is. Some of the most wonderful food in the world. I have eaten at MANY Persian Restaurants in the US and around the world. This one was the worst of any I have had in 35 years.

Do you enjoy eating delicious juicy Iranian food? This place will end all your hope in that avenue. We ordered aash, we were craving it so badly. We added on a mushroom Persian pizza and juje kabob. Was it what we ordered? No. The aash to-go lid was half open and it was spilled all over our other dishes. Poor us we didn't even get a refund. The mushroom pizza was one or half a slice of mushroom on each nasty slice full of mustard and cheese, no tomato sauce, and no appearance of beef. The juje (chicken) kabob was all burnt (just take a look at the picture!)- is their goal to give us all cancer instead of nourishment? I can now understand why I only hear bad things about this place by my friends. I have lots to warn them of as well, for their own safety. Why don't these people consider their customers as human beings with their own busy lives trying to care for other people, just trying to stay healthy and well fed? I don't think the staff at Shiraz can understand that. It's a disgusting twisted place that does not represent what they claim they are.

Ordered takeout and the person on the phone was friendly. Wouldn’t recommend it but if you’re in a pinch for food that will pass as Persian this should work.

The soup spilled in the takeout and the pizza got smushed. The driver or the restaurant did not tell us not to pick the bag up by the handle. The spices on the kebab tasted right and they have a very nice salad

Worst Persian food ever.
The meat was old and rotten. We got shish leek, beef and chicken Kubodieh and had very bad experience.
It was a take out order that is why could not go back to return. Whoever took the call is a huge liar.

Worst koobideh I've ever had! It's a disgrace to Iranian cuisine. Unbelievably bad!

We ordered the koobideh and chicken barg to split and ended up not feeling great after. The meats tasted off and not like traditional Persian cuisine (I am Persian btw). The service was good (nice waiter Ali) but I didn’t like the automatic 20% gratuity on a bill for two people.

I am Persian and I’m telling you THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT A REPRESENTATIVE OF PERSIAN FOOD. Its’s RUBBISH.Had kabab koobideh and I can’t even name it kabab koobideh. It was hard and dry like rock. Tasted HORRIBLE as if the meat has been expired! I’m not even sure if it was meat at all! I bet it had fillers. No wonder they don’t have customers. Do not waste your money.

You have not had great pizza until you've had persian pizza! The flavor is unmatched. That scene from The Goofey movie where the cheese oozed? This is that pizza. 10/10

The best restaurant in New England is this Shiraz restaurant, with the best quality and the most diverse delicious dishes. I always enjoyed their food and customer service, and I always celebrate the most important events of my life there; thank you to your professional team.

I tried the beef and mushroom pizza on a whim after leaving the bar across the streeet. The sauce, cheese and crust were unique and enjoyable, the beef seasoning was a bit foreign to me, some people may love it, just a bit overly unique for my taste buds (tasted like microwaved meat, but unsure if that’s just the spice) I’ll try it again. A little pricey. Overall good bones for a unique spot.

An atmosphere with lighting that is gentle on the eyes and food that is stimulating to the tongue. Server was very knowledgeable about the food/menu. ??

Food is ok, bread is home made, fresh and tasty. Almost every time we go back, the family of the owner sits in a corner with the young child playing with his computer, then there is traffic back and forth to the kitchen with the same family members. Prices are high for the quality. 20% gratuity is included, too high for the service! Decor is tacky.

Very bad smell of the beef koobidenot sure how they made it with bad smell, bad taste, also some awkward yellowish non-meat (perhaps pea powder or something else) ingredients. They call it beef koobide but it is a very bad smell +ugly taste product!
