Driving from NYC by visiting friends. Got Toji Jiro, the foods are excellent and the service was super nice and helpful. My server was Eggy, he’s warm and his smile is everything to service. I’ll be back for sure!

The yakitori here is authentic and delicious. Great flavor and you can really taste the smokiness from the grill. Beef tongue, steak and pork belly were my favorite. The chicken yakitori is basic and I would pass next time. Their rich shio ramen is very good also; broth is very flavorful and I drank the whole bowl! The “Delicious Shochu” cocktail was so good! It was strong, but you couldn’t taste the alcohol. Highly recommended for people who like refreshing, fruity cocktails. Unfortunately the thing that will prevent me from coming here often are their prices! You have to order a lot of skewers and apps to feel full. Their yakitori is double the price of “Izakaya Ittoku” in Cambridge! At $5-$7 PER skewer here, that’s really pushing it. Don’t get me started about the prices of their sushi and rolls. If they want to brand themselves as a higher end Japanese restaurant for locals in Watertown, that’s fine. But know that they will lose out on a lot of Boston Asian clientele that flock towards restaurants that offer more affordable, casual dining. I will save this spot for only when I want to splurge.

Made plans here to catch up with old friends. There was a little confusion between us whether the reservation was for 4 or 5, but the staff was very patient and accommodating. Great service all evening and great food.

Yummy! Went here previously w my brother over a year ago but quality is still the same. Beef tongue yakitori was my fav by far, it was so good. Expensive for the amount of food you get, so idk if it’s worth it for me, but overall good.

The staff was absolutely amazing. They were very kind to my daughter and were very accommodating, even though we did not have a reservation. The food was phenomenal. I had the karaage curry ramen, my wife had the tonkatsu, and my daughter had the rice curry. Food was flavorful and aromatic.

Best ramen I've ever had, the chicken karaage add-on for it is always super good too. Nice staff and the service is really quick too.

Vegetarian ramen was not the best. Service was good.
Wonderful! Servers are excellent and attentive. One server quickly recognized that one of our speciality rolls did not to match the requested order and quickly removed the dish to fetch the correct dish. Sashimi/Nigiri is fresh and tasty - yellow fin tuna was the best!
