What a great little find! As soon as I walked in I was greeted exuberantly by a man with a giant smile on his face, his name is Sam and he's awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy chicken and rice with salad. The chicken was super tender and flavorful and it wasn't overly spicy hot. The rice and salad were also very yummy. The price for the amount of food that I was given is not common these days. Thank you so much Sam! I will definitely be back

Forgot my lunch and googled food near me and this TruFoods popped up. Decided take to take a short drive to the restaurant. Ordered the chicken and rice. Owner was friendly and food was cooked to order. Food was delicious and super fresh!! Loved everything but especially the salad! (I love salads) had enough food to save later for dinner. Reasonably priced and good portions. Will be back again!

I’m visiting Watertown from California and today I tried the buffalo chicken wrap! It was brilliant… Incredibly tasty… The flavors works so great together and the chicken was extremely tender. This is one heckuva place and if you are in Watertown, it is a *must* visit????????

Not sure why it's so highly rated. Personally the taste wasn't so great, the bread was a bit soggy (instead of crispy) and the flavor kind of average. Price is competitive though. Update: boston bbq and chicken pesto sandwiches

One of the reasons I like this neighborhood more since moving here is because I found my go-to place. I often pick up food by myself, but if my friends don’t know this place, I always make sure they order from here. It’s perfect for a picnic menu too. Sam is always kind and makes incredibly delicious food. All my friends who have tried True Food give it a thumbs up. I think it’s the best restaurant in Watertown! Such high quality at a reasonable price?. Take care in the heat, and thank you always for the delicious food.P.S- If the business hours were extended into the evening, my husband and I would probably come more often. My husband always wants to eat from here after he gets off work in the evening. ?? Since it’s only open in the morning, we always have to keep the time in mind when ordering!

This is hands down, the BEST sandwich shop in the area. Owner is super nice. The photos actually look as advertised. This place is definitely a "hole in the wall" restaurant, and can be easy to miss. So I'm really happy I found it. And for those reviews giving 3 stars or less because they didn't get their food instantly. Just go somewhere else. If you want REAL food and quality that chain restaurants can't provide, this is the place for you. I hope this place stays in town forever. Quality like this is so hard to find these days. Anyone not giving this place 5 stars, doesn't know good food.
I've been a regular customer here for a few months now. In that time, I've probably tried seven or eight different paninis, wraps, and chicken and rice dishes. Everything has been excellent - fresh, quality ingredients, scratch cooking, perfect ingredient proportions, and an eclectic mixture of culinary influences, including Indian and Italian.The prices are very reasonable for the excellent quality and generous quantity of the dishes. The service is great, as well - the owner, Sam, is very warm and friendly.As other reviewers have mentioned, ordering online is definitely recommended - the establishment is small, and there isn't much room to wait. My online orders have always been ready in 10-15 minutes.I really can't recommend TruFoods Kitchen highly enough. I've taken multiple friends here (to universally glowing reviews) and I will continue frequenting it myself. Give it a try!

This place is a hidden gem, it is my FAVORITE food spot on Main St., everything I've tried has been absolutely mouth-watering. You can really tell that each sandwich is crafted with love and care. My favorite so far has been the Sonia Panini - such a delicious marriage of unique flavors! The marinated chicken is so juicy and flavorful, the veg is fresh and balances out the flavors, generous amount of melted cheese, and the zippy cilantro chutney adds the perfect kick to even it all out. There are lenty of vegetarian options on the menu as well. The atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming, as is the owner :) 10/10 definitely try this place out, you'll be coming back for more!!

Last week, I visited and picked up the Spicy-Halal chicken & rice because it was so delicious that I wanted to try other dishes too! I placed my order and they prepared it for me in less than 10 minutes.The Tru- food was absolutely amazing, and the portions kitchen was generous. I enjoyed the meal by myself and felt so happy! ^^ Today, while grocery shopping, my husband mentioned that he wanted to have the Chicken Tikka wrap again, which he had last week. So, I placed an additional order, and I decided to try the Panini that Chef's recommended to me last time. I had the Sonia panini today... It was out of this world! The taste was incredible. Even though my husband is picky and has high standards when it comes to food, he said it was the best panini he has ever had, full of rich flavors. Thank you so much. You're so kind and thoughtful.
