“First visit today, although we live somewhat in the neighborhood and I am already kicking myself for not having got here sooner. Red tabbouleh spicing was very punchy and vivid. Allspice in the stuffed grape leaves make them worth coming back for, not something I think I've ever said about stuffed grape leaves before. Most unforgettable was the red lentil soup with its soft rich velvety texture over two or three layers of different delicious flavors. Great first impression, can't wait to go back, solid A leaning toward A+.“

“Came from New York yesterday to try Cafe Mangal and it absolutely knocked my socks off! One of the best sandwiches I’ve had not only in Massachusetts but the entire east coast. Unbelievable attention to detail and high quality ingredients, extremely special and one of a kind place. Mehmet is a stud and everything on their menu is spectacular, but the chicken and mozzarella panini is world class“

“Ate at the new location in Allston last night with a friend and the food there was amazing! Excellent fresh bread, lentil soup, and wrap. Service was generally good with a few hiccups.“

“A clean, unpretentious, simple place with excellent food, good size portions, reasonable prices, and good service.
Order included an Adana kebab, spinach pie, fresh bread, and sautéed eggplant. Also happy to see that they sold cold cans of sour cherry, a delicious non-alcoholic Turkish drink.“

“Came here a month ago with friends. Food and service were excellent. The appetizers and desserts were beyond fabulous. Our waitress even brought us free complementary tea to go with all the desserts we ordered cuz we couldn't settle on any particular one.
Will definitely come back. Parking wasn't bad either considering we came on a Sat. Would have been awesome if they had buffet too.“

“I give it a 4 1/2 because it was very good but for dessert we ordered Kunefe which is our favorite dessert but it was not the same as the ones we had in Istanbul. It was too dry and over cooked. I guess we were looking for same exact flavors from when we went to Istanbul, Turkey which was a 5. Lol
Now we were expecting because of what were told by someone that we would be hearing Turkish music there which sounded even more exciting .😞There definitely was not and you can barely hear what was playing but hope next time we hear some Turkish music.😉We will definitely go back and with family & friends to get a taste of Turkey because I truly recommend this restaurant. Our
server who just had 2 days working there was sooo amazing and friendly and I guess we were lucky we had him because their was a tall one who didn't interact with his customers...too serious 🤭
Hat off to the chef 🎩 🙌“

“Years ago, when I was a student in Boston, I met Osman in a Turkish restaurant. He was kind, hardworking, and always full of warmth. Seeing him now as the owner of this wonderful Turkish restaurant filled me with pride and gratitude. Osman’s hospitality, generosity, and genuine heart was into every detail of this place, from the warm welcome at the door to the last bite of dessert. And the food is absolutely phenomenal. Every dish has authentic flavors of Turkey, perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and made with love. From the tender kebabs to the fresh mezes and perfectly flaky baklava, it was a feast in every sense. You can feel the care and tradition in every bite. This restaurant isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place to feel at home, to celebrate friendship, and to savor life. Thank you, Osman, for creating such a beautiful space. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️“

“This Turkish restaurant serves absolutely delicious and authentic food! Every dish I tried was full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully prepared. From the kebabs to the appetizers and desserts, everything tasted homemade and satisfying.
While the atmosphere and location aren’t the most appealing, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. If you’re looking for great Turkish cuisine, this place is definitely worth a visit.“

“The food is incredible! I would give them 6 stars if I could!
After driving past this restaurant a gazillion times, I said, " You know we have to try that restaurant out" and finally we did and at a very busy time around seven . They didn't have any tables available as this restaurant is small and came at peak hour but we managed to get a couple seats at the bar. We had the best baba ghanoush, the lamb, Adana, and chicken kebab..,it was delicious!!!!!! the salad was delicious too! And the pistachio Halva dessert was divine with goat ice cream! The main thing is our meal was fresh! They were also a lot of takeout orders so I think this restaurant is a no-brainer for me. If I need to entertain people, I will probably order a bunch of kebabs from them and know the quality would be fabulous because it's small. It was a little hectic when I was there since food was being passed along the table with an empty stool next to me at the bar. But I get it. It's busy! I would like to come in when it's a little quieter maybe around five I have a more calming dining experience!“
