“We stopped in on the way home from the airport, and it was amazing! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. The atmosphere and food were awesome. I highly recommend the Mickey’s Chicken special and the red sangria which was a deep dark red- as sangria should be. Yum! My children loved our Irish waitress who Made them laugh and feel special. This restaurant is over an hour from where we live, but there is no doubt we will travel back often. Wonderful experience!“

“I liked the burger. Truffle Gorgonzola fries were ok— I liked the fries, but didn’t really like the sauce. Stomach felt a little funny after, but not sure if that was the burger or fries.

Food came quick. Space was clean and small but not crowded.

Parking lot out back had multiple spaces available and was $1.35/hr. There’s some 2 hr free spots a few blocks down but you have to parallel park. Some 1 hr free spots closer to the restaurant but those were almost all taken Saturday lunch hour.“

From the moment we sat down Linda went above and beyond to take care of our large party (which included 5 young children). The food was delicious and Vinnie prepared a chocolate raspberry cake that everyone raved about. Michael was quick to respond to emails about planning, etc.

“Not only was the Baba , Peach Gazpacho and chicken Shastish delish , but Chef David took the time to chat with us in 100 degree weather and served us a sample of his staffs lunch he was preparing for them today ...his moms fav dish when he was a kid... THE MESSY SANDWICH ! Homemade Crispy BLT , heirloom tomato with a hit of peanut butter . Hope he puts it on the menu someday but more importantly know he's "the real deal" born and raised New England cool, creative and genuine - cheers to you Chef David !!!“

“Ordered beef with broccoli, beef with green and pepper and onion, shrimp fried rice, and a glass of fruit punch. Shared it all between two people and took home all leftovers, and I can’t believe I’m writing this but NO complaints. I have a hard time with beef/chicken often tasting a little gamey or subtly foul at other restaurants. It’s something that with enough seasoning, I don’t think most pick up on because I’ve usually been alone in that observation. However, the meat was clearly clean, seasoned with ginger which helped enhance all the other flavors, and then the beef with broccoli sauce. It was just amazing.

Parking: You’ll usually find street parking, might take a loop at most but if you’re having trouble, park at the paid parking lot off Walnut Street and walk 2 blocks.“

Specialized in Cuban style tapas dishes, great to order small dishes and share.
Yuca fries was good. Fried well, crispy exterior with soft buttery interior. Steak was also very good, well made with delicious refreshing chimichurri. Chicharrones was also very good, as it should be.
Service was great and no issues.

“A great atmosphere with blue accent lighting and plenty of TVs for sports. The alcohol selection is great. Typical American fare, and quick service. My servers have always been prompt with refills! I love the whiskey glazed salmon, and they're really good about cooking their vegetables just right. This is one of my favorite spots!“

“My husband and I went to Sobre Mesa last night, it had been recommended to us. We dined at the large U shaped bar. The atmosphere was lovely and customers appeared happy, as did the staff. I want to shout out Shannon, our bartender. Shannon welcomed us with her huge smile and positive energy. She really knew her way around the bar & talked to us about the menu. The margaritas had fresh lime juice and were so refreshing. We started with chips & salsa and guacamole, delicious. For dinner we ordered the fajitas with chicken, it was dynamite. “Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!“

The pork with spring roll was very good . The sauce that came with it was not , and it smelled weird . Overall good , I thought a little too pricey for what you are getting .“
