Located in the actual middle of the delightful Blagden Alley. I popped in for a morning coffee and had a life-altering draft oat latte (pumpkin spice as it was the season). Definitely recommend for your java fix in that area!
Find the old Bread & Circus sign!
Cute part of town. They have a oatmilk caramel draft latte! Never had a draft latte before, it was awesome. Light and frothy, flavorful and not too sugary
The food is good but the servers are NOT friendly and you feel judged for asking simple questions like if they heat up pastries. Saying thank you after getting your cookie and then drink means nothing as they don’t even acknowledge you. Oh well.
I went based on a recommendation from my friend. This place is close to the convention center. Very friendly service, quick. Got cold brew and cheddar chive scone. Both were very good. The place is a bit hidden, but worth of finding and visiting. Also you may check murals in the streets next to it.
Amazing coffee and really cute and cozy place to stay in! We stopped for a coffee break and we ended up sitting there for a couple of hours ;)
Excellent coffee, nice place and friendly staff. You feel it will be a good coffee just by entering and smelling, really worth the stop
Colombe is one of my favorite coffee shops in Chicago and it didn’t disappoint in DC either. I took a daily walk to the Colombe from my hotel for its cappuccino and pastry. I tried their oat milk draft spice latte was incredible too!! Cute little place in a cute neighborhood.
For a lack of a better word, a funky little place in a wonderful artist center alley area, I’d probably never find again. A young vibe. Walk around with your delicious coffee and view the wonderful painted murals on the walls - a special treat!
The barista was nice but his head was too big so it loses a star

We've been to a whoooole lot of specialty coffee places around the globe but definitely haven't had such a smooth Oat Milk latte before. Being on tap is a nice bonus and definitely adds to it. If you like coldbrew, check out the lemon cold brew - it's so good! :)
The dishes look appetizing but don't let the looks fool you. All the food has a funny taste, which I guess is the preservatives they put in so you can eat it without dying many days after it has been prepared. Don't bother eating here unless you are really desperate!
This is the coffee counter in the whole foods. Not much seating and The tables that were there were dirty. The coffee is nothing special and the barista can't seem to follow basic instructions.
I'm a simple coffee drinker. I prefer a plain latte or a regular old cup of drip coffee but this place hits the mark perfectly. If this were a chain it would easily rival starbucks because the coffee is just that good! A little bonus is it is always pretty!
We take our coffee drinking very seriously and La Colombe is an excellent cafe that also takes their responsibility of providing their customers with great coffee. My wife and I enjoyed exceptional almond lattes and also enjoyed a very tasty chocolate croissant!
