We went on a Saturday 6ish. Dryft was very busy (as expected) and very lively. We were happy to be seated near the end of the restaurant in a booth where it was less noisy. The service was excellent and pleasant. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Food arrived in good time and we enjoyed everything! Pasta is home made and very tender. My mahi mahi dish was fresh & delicious with a lovely finishing sauce. Our friends raved about the clam chowder and everyone enjoyed their meal. We will be back!
Food was outstanding. Every mouthful was a delight. Definitely worth the price. Patricia, the waitress was wonderful, attentive, personable. However, it was quite noisy. I wish the owners could figure out how to deal with the acoustics -- maybe something on the walls and/or ceiling to dampen/absorb the sound?
Good experience, but that's it. I don't generally like these big, industrial, high-ceilinged, as they tend to produce generic, overly-seasoned food, and Dryft was no exception. Nothing wrong, but nothing memorable. Server was friendly & attentive, as was the bartender. But overly-spiced apps and entrees just weren't great. Hate to leave mediocre reviews, but I'm surprised a town like Wellesley pays high-end prices for middle-of-the-road food.
Delicious food and great service! We had the muscles, shrimp ceviche, truffle fries and sweet & spicy wings.
The atmosphere and service was very good. Menu is totally rinse and repeat, standard fare - right from don't offend anyone basic restaurant playbook. NOT for foodies. They have an opportunity with that space to really distinguish themselves with a point of view. There is no point of view - just a menu that will ensure you will get out of there for 2 over $100. Not bad, not great. Just food.
Dryft is a spot I enjoy, but the experience can be hit or miss depending on where you sit. The bar consistently delivers attentive, polished service, while the dining room often feels more like straightforward order-taking similar to what you'd find at Tatte.
It was very quiet when we were there for lunch but the food we had was good and the dishes we saw looked great. Very nice people and we enjoyed the space.
The atmosphere is fabulous, the food is consistently great and the staff is so good. Everything one wants in a good restaurant. I keep going back!!
Good food and value. A little loud. But overall enjoyed my experience. I would recommend going.
The Dryft in Wellesley has become our favorite seafood restaurant in the area. The New England Clam Chowder and the Salmon & Shrimp are excellent!

I had a birthday lunch yesterday with my friends; first time at Dryft. It was an enjoyable afternoon. I had braised short ribs which were one of the best I've had, and everyone said their food was delicious. Our waiter, Ricky, was absolutely the best...very friendly, helpful, courteous and made sure we were comfortable and happy. We were! Highly recommend Dryft for dining and ambiance.
Great food and atmosphere. Much quieter on Sunday than other days we have been which is nice because on other days it can get loud. The service was fantastic and everything we needed was served at a great pace and food was very hot. One of our favorites. Will be back.
The choices for all courses were unique and interesting. Everything we ordered came quickly and was fantastic. Our waitress, Caroline, was terrific!
As always, we had a wonderful experience at Dryft. We've been going there since they opened. We've been for date night at the bar, dinner with friends, and larger gatherings. The drinks, food, and service never disappoint!
Nice restaurant with cool decor. Great service. Food was good (not great). I would return.
