Smith & Wollensky in Wellesley offers a classic steakhouse experience with an upscale twist. The restaurant provides a perfect setting for special occasions, with a typical steakhouse vibe. The food is amazing, with dishes such as pea soup and the key lime pie standing out. The service is exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who create a wonderful and memorable experience. Customers praise the professional service, friendly and caring staff, and the overall great experience. The restaurant is known for its high-quality steaks, fabulous cocktails, and unique dining experiences like the dice game. Smith & Wollensky is a great choice for birthdays, graduations, and other celebrations, with solid food and exceptional service. Guests appreciate the warm welcome from the host/hostess and the engaged management team, who ensure everything runs smoothly. The massive shrimp cocktails are bigger than a baby's foot, while the fried octopus app is good, and the wedge salad is delicious. The ribeye is huge and amazing, and the duck confit is also a hit. The truffle fries are great and better without ketchup. While the coconut cream cake dessert is decent, the chocolate cake could be improved, being dry. Overall, the apps and entrees are great, and the service is consistently excellent.
