We eat at The Cottage several times a year because the food, service and ambience is very good. Hopefully, they will have the patio open this season! The one drawback is the loudness. It has background music that does not at all suit dinner music no matter your age or genre of music preference. My husband and I were trying to guess each song but it's just low enough to be annoying . Not sure the acoustics can be fixed and it doesn't preclude us from going, just mentioning it in case noise is an issue for some.

Ordered southwestern entree with black beans- it was all lettuce- had to search for the very few beans. Told waitress who said she'd tell kitchen- came back with bill- no mention of my comment. We've been here many times but not happy about this- (bring back Brussel sprouts) very disappointing

Plenty of parking. Food and the service were excellent. Met old friends and we needed time to catch up. We didn't feel rushed at all.

We had 2 salads for lunch. I had the harvest which was more than ample and my friend had the citrus beet which she also liked. The wait person was lovely and very patient and helpful. It was a little noisy but the tables are far enough apart that it didn't matter. The Cottage never disappoints for good reliable food.

Several members of our party were gluten free for medical reasons. While the menu indicated items that were gluten free or could be made gluten free, one of our members received her salad with a gluten free marker in it and found there were noodles in the bottom of the bowl. She requested a new bowl with no noodles and received a bowl that ended up containing pieces of noodles which she didn't discover until she had eaten some of the salad. One person asked for added chicken to their sandwich and received a sandwich with no chicken. The wait staff was wonderful and so apologetic and had carefully taken down our order and the need for gluten free. The manager was also very apologetic and ended up not charging us for our meal. We appreciated all of their concern but would wish that the kitchen staff would be more rigorous in their handling of gluten free orders and understand that mistakes cause actual medical issues for the guest.

One of my favorite places to meet up with girlfriends to talk and eat- lively atmosphere, but can actually hear our conversations- not as loud as some other area restaurants. Great food.

Wait staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good. They did try to put us at a table that was a little less noisy which we appreciated.

The inside is cute but the food was very underwhelming for the price point. It also took our waitress 30 mins to come over and take our drink order. Food came out quickly but the chicken tortilla soup was incredibly salty and the chicken piccata was rubbery and too briny. I may have visited on an off night but overall was not impressed at all but the food or service.

Good food and service, but portions have shrunk (fish tacos had less fish than normal and they no longer come with rice). Food came out fast and hot.

Everything was great. We got there a bit earlier than our reservation but were seated immediately. Server was very attentive!!! Food delicious. So nice to be in a fun atmosphere and still hear your lunch companions. Servers very helpful and generous with desserts to celebrate two birthdays. Thank you!!

This was my second time eating at The Cottage. My first experience there was excellent in all respects. This time it was not quite as good. Two of us received the wrong entrees; we decided not to send them back because there had been a rather long wait before we were served, and I didn't want the two others in our party to have to wait for us. What I ate was good, but it was not what I ordered. Also, we were brought the check without being asked if we wanted coffee or dessert.

Go to the cottage frequently. Usual standard fare. Nothing spectacular but usually good. The lemon shrimp orzo was a disappointment. My husband had the scallops and said they were okay. Chicken Milanese which I have had before is the way to go.

Really enjoyed the food and overall menu at The Cottage. The staff was excellent and the decor was especially enjoyable in a relaxed and moderately quiet way. Looking forward to going back and trying many of the menu items in the future

We booked the private room for a special group dinner and The Cottage was great to work with. The booking process was easy and all of their communication was fast.

Our server Manuela did an amazing job serving and making sure everyone was comfortable. Everyone enjoyed their food and had a great time.

Recommended food: Korean fried cauliflower, calamari, Ahi tuna nachos, steak frites.
