Go to this place knowing:
It’s a bar on the beach
It’s right on a beautiful beach.
It serves bar food
There will be a long wait. You can sit indoors but what’s the point?
You have to pay $30 to park there. Note that you can use the $30 to pay for food and clothes but NOT for alcohol.
All that being said - the food is good.
Had the scallops on a salad. Thought it was a nice large portion.
I think it’s worth the aggravation.

Greatest place

Beachcomber has shown disregard for the First Amendment by trying to limit free expression on public sidewalks. They appear to believe the sidewalk in front of their business is their private property, even though sidewalks are clearly public spaces. This kind of behavior is troubling and reflects poorly on their respect for basic rights.

This is not a hotel.
It's a casual beach front restaurant with a beautiful beach.

Like many others, saw that they closed their season out on Labor Day. Drove by today to see the beach (mid-September) and got turned away by a kid in a Beachcomber shirt guarding the parking lot entrance. We were confused to say the least. When we asked if they were actually open, he told us “We’re open until September 28” so snotty. They obviously just made that decision based on the string of nice weather New England is having. It would have been nice if they updated their hours online so we could have planned a trip there. Based on this experience alone will not be returning.

Cost $30 jist to get on and pay $15 for a PBR. Not worth it.

The food and service was good. Location is awesome. Leaving 2 stars because they use single-use plastic for everything. I saw a lot of plastic washing up on shore as I walked on the beach. It is disappointing that the owners don’t feel the need to take any steps minimize the plastic waste they generate, especially when they benefit from the beauty of the natural landscape around their location.

Overhyped. Very expensive. Parking is $30 and you are supposed to use it as a voucher. The waiter never asked for it and we forgot to use it. There were four of us, didn’t order anything crazy and the total came up to $200. If I knew, I would have gone someplace else.
