their prices are outrageous, double what they should be!
A classic Cape Cod fish and chips eating place picnic style. Be prepared to sit outside at picnic tables with the seagulls, who add to the beauty of the pier.
Parking: Because it's on the pier, next to the fishing boats, there's a parking lot. During the summer season it can be very crowded. On off season very easy to park.
Kid-friendliness: Because outside with walking distance t the harbor shoreline in one direction and the pier with busy cars driving, NOT kud friendly unless you watch and follow the kids everywhere.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not really. Chest high windows to order, and all picnic tables and eating places are either on the porch without room for a wheelchair or in the sand where wheelchairs can not maneuver.

Went here because we heard Mac’s had a good reputation… perhaps this is not the real “Mac’s”.
Steamers were dismally under-rinsed and overcooked. Onion rings were caked in flour and seasoning salt, and undercooked - they had no life at all.
Whole-belly clams (small plate) had maybe four bellies in the entire order, and the remaining 70% of the $24 plate was made up of overcooked/bouncy withered strips of greasy breading one might find at a White Castle.
Lemonades were refreshing, but small for the price. The only redeeming feature of this experience was the view.
Do yourself a favor and save your hard-earned cash.

For the menu, the food is excellent. Even better the fry batter is gluten-free and actually tastes delicious. My husband, who isn’t GF, couldn’t believe it and it made my day to get fried oysters and onion rings for
a change.
The view also can’t be beat and the ice cream is delicious too.

Food was just so so but the setting was beautiful for outside dining. No meat in the lobster bisque.

Beautiful food and excellent views. Seating by the water with lovely scenery (and dog friendly). All sorts of seafood classics, grilled dishes, gluten free fried dishes, great fish tacos, fresh lemonade and ice cream.

We loved going to Mac’s On the Pier because of the atmosphere. It is a wonderful place by the water. Food (lobster role, halibut sandwich, and Mac & cheese) is also great, yet a bit on the pricey side especially considering there is no table service. The halibut special was great.

I know their specialty is seafood but, I love the burritos! The Jamaican jerk pork one is delish. The wicked hot sauce is great. Staff is wonderful too!

These, unfortunately, these were not whole belly clams. The one pictured came close.... disappointed. Picture will not post. Paying $30 for clam strips well.... Macs in Chatham, restaurant and market I love.
