I am not too sure what to say about this place. It's shockingly expensive but it is Cape Cod. You can pay as much money for relatively small portions of deep fried foods at 100 places on Cape Cod but we consistently choose this one. The view of Wellfleet Harbor is tough to beat and the food is 100% what we expect and want. Even the painful prices add to the summery vibes.

Great location. Great location. Expected way over priced sub par food. But the location is almost worth the way over priced food. Orders taken by people that act like they wish you would go away. Great location. I guess just be happy the food is available int that great location.

Good food. Service is okay. Ketchup and tartar sauce, plastic ware accessible after the order. Great location for a sunset snack/dinner.
Picnic tables and a pier 😁

Service was terrible. Very unfriendly. They gave me sugar soda when I asked for diet and told them I am diabetic. They were out of a lot of the menu. The prices are outrageous. Not at all worth it. Bring other food to eat. It is a public pier.

Just popped in for a couple dozen of their famous oysters on the half shell. Absolutely sumptuous!

Mac's on the Pier was a Bucket List Day meal for us. We drove to Cape Cod, MA and had fresh caught and steamed Lobster at Mac's Seafood Market on the Pier. 🦞🦞 There's a little deli there, but if you go to the Seafood Market, they pull it out of the glass tank, steam it, and crack it, all for a very reasonable price; so much less than a restaurant or even their own the deli out front. Then we sat outside on the pier and gobbled down these delicious, fresh lobster in the glorious sunlight. We also had their Bluefish Pate, which was really just fish dip, but delicious. 😋😋 Neither of us had ever picked out a lobster and had it cooked for us. It was such a special Bucket List treat!! 😁

It's not a traditional sit down restaurant. It's more like a big stand. You order at a window and pick up at anothe. They do some picnic tables that you eat at. The food was good, reasonable, and came quickly

A classic Cape Cod fish and chips eating place picnic style. Be prepared to sit outside at picnic tables with the seagulls, who add to the beauty of the pier.

Parking: Because it's on the pier, next to the fishing boats, there's a parking lot. During the summer season it can be very crowded. On off season very easy to park.

Kid-friendliness: Because outside with walking distance t the harbor shoreline in one direction and the pier with busy cars driving, NOT kud friendly unless you watch and follow the kids everywhere.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not really. Chest high windows to order, and all picnic tables and eating places are either on the porch without room for a wheelchair or in the sand where wheelchairs can not maneuver.

Went here because we heard Mac’s had a good reputation… perhaps this is not the real “Mac’s”.

Steamers were dismally under-rinsed and overcooked. Onion rings were caked in flour and seasoning salt, and undercooked - they had no life at all.

Whole-belly clams (small plate) had maybe four bellies in the entire order, and the remaining 70% of the $24 plate was made up of overcooked/bouncy withered strips of greasy breading one might find at a White Castle.

Lemonades were refreshing, but small for the price. The only redeeming feature of this experience was the view.

Do yourself a favor and save your hard-earned cash.
