Not too heavy on frosting, and the cake is light and delicious. Our friends always comment on how delicious the cupcakes/cakes are. This week, we ordered a Wicked theme cake for our daughter’s 10th birthday party and it was so beautiful, I thought my kiddo was going to cry with joy when we picked it up!! “One of the best BBQ restaurants in the Northeast region. I’ve been here numerous times, eating in and getting takeout. Everything is consistently delicious and house made. Get here early! They will run out of popular items like burnt ends, spare ribs, cornbread and turkey. The burnt ends are to die for, brisket is amazingly smokey, spare ribs delicious. You can’t go wrong. The cocktails are delicious and go well with the food and they have a good beer selection. I love this place and just wish it was closer!”

“This brewery centers around a very nice structure, but the real appeal is sitting outside in suitable weather. The hops fields are amazing and particularly warrant a visit at or near harvest time. The brewery is in a rather remote setting, just this side of the middle of nowhere, and that is part of its attraction. The grounds outside are extensive, down a hill to the edge of one of the hops fields.

There is not an extensive selection of beers on tap, but what they have is certainly good. There is also a limited selection of wines on tap, from a nearby winery, for those who prefer wine over beer. The brewery is now offering a pizza food truck, at least on Friday nights.

My only complaint is that the brewery does not allow dogs, even outside. That is unfortunate, but I understand that the owners have a right to make their own management decisions. Well-behaved dogs and responsible dog owners do not present problems at other breweries and wineries, and maybe it would be worth rethinking this policy. I (sadly) knew in advance and left my dog at home, but when I left I couldn't help but notice somebody else's canine friend cooped up in a vehicle in the parking lot. (At least it was a cool evening.)”

“Food is always good, especially their beef stew! They have gluten free friers so this is a regular choice for my friend, who has celiac, and I. The atmosphere is what you would expect for an Irish pub, a little dark, cozy and familiar.”

“I have health problems where I am to stick to low sodium diet. Pizza always puts me over the limit so I try to get a salad. They have an awesome chef salad, that makes 2 meals for me. I am able to eat a piece or two of the pizza. The pizza is not high in sodium tasting. To our all but one in our family it's the best in town.”
