Food was decent but not out of the park for the price point. Tuna tartare was listed as being served with homemade wontons. Came with potato chips. Blah ... salad was good but overdressed. Sauce on the swordfish was good but again to much of it overpowered the fish. Cocktails seemed heared towatd being ovetsweet. Glad we went but probably will not return
Our 2nd visit to restaurant and it did not disappoint. 50th birthday celebration with 6 family members. Staff was excellent, food delicious.
The restaurant itself was nice and server was pleasant but the food was terrible. When serving high tea, the server should describe the food when it is presented and should pour your initial tea service. The food was cold and tasteless(soup and salad was ok, the rest was bad). I will not return.
Good selection and friendly service
We had an enjoyable evening. Our food was delicious and the service was great. We love the ambiance at Plat du Jour. one of our new favorite restaurants
We booked early on but ended up in the tiny room either a large table so we couldn't hear one another and had to repeat ourselves constantly. Whenever I needed the waitress I couldn't find her or anyone else. No one asked if we had nut allergies so I had to find someone to ask and that person had to find out if nuts were used. Tea was amazing.
Wonderful experience. best dinner deal on the North shore..order the Michelin burger! Delicious, perfectly cooked, delicious glass of Bordeaux ( red or white). $20 can not beat this for the meal, atmosphere and service. The owners are warm and genuine.
A friend and I met for lunch and to catch up before the holidays. Although the dining room was full, the atmosphere was lively but not loud. I think there was music playing softly in the background but it wasn't the usual holiday music. My friend and I spent almost 2.5 hours chatting. The food was fine, but the freshly made beignets and chocolate sauce really stood out!
Always such a great brunch! Steak and eggs with toast and home fries! Steak was so tender and flavorful! It was a full steak sliced thick, so yummy! Ryan was our server and was awesome as usual! New bartender Kelsey made my very favorite espresso martini ever!!!
Lovely brunch - food was delicious and service was excellent. Every dish enjoyed and we left nothing on our plates. Dessert beignets and mousse was so worth the extra calories. We will go back.

We had a great brunch. Great drinks and wonderful hot omlelets. A wonderful place to spend the late morning. Coffee and juice over looking the snow filled garden. Tara and Patrick are wonderful hosts. We will be back!
Laurel was a wonderful waitress, very attentive to our table, with a great personality. There was a large private party that was breaking up as we arrived that was somewhat noisy, but after the group left, things quieted down.
A charming quiet restaurant with superbly prepared food and a professional service with smiles, warm and very reasonably price. A gem of a spot in a historic house,
I went with a couple of friends for dinner. We all enjoyed the Burger and Burgundy dinner. It was a delicious hamburger and a lovely glass of wine. Very reasonable. I will definitely be back again to try some other dishes....Oh and the service and ambiance was amazing....
The food is amazing probably one of the best burgers I have had. The ambiance is so pretty and inviting. Great place to get together with girlfriends
