“What a great place! My husband and I went yesterday. I’d only been once before but it was shortly after they opened and didn’t have nearly as much as I saw yesterday. I didn’t know how to choose so we tried a bunch! My husband wanted sour dough bread so that was the reason we drove out. Just ate it with breakfast and it was delicious. The blueberry pastry and baguette my dad loved and the coconut cookie my husband loved. But the show stopper (and I fear writing this might make me never be able to get my hands on them again lol) was the cinnamon bun crescent. OMG. This was amazing!!! What a decadent treat! “We hired Mara and her team for our wedding cake and they did a phenomenal job! From the beginning of cake tasting and sitting down with Mara to come up with what we wanted for our day to the day of the event we have nothing but great things to say. We wanted something simple and chose a smaller cake to cut into and a total of three different flavors cakes for guests (red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting, chocolate cake and raspberry frosting, and lastly vanilla cake and vanilla frosting for those who like to keep it simple). The cakes were so moist and flavorful. Our guests couldn’t stop saying how delicious they were and where they were from. We even got an anniversary cake that we cannot wait to eat again. “Friendly staff and good food. Bakery things are around 3.50 to 4 apiece which is cheap for the price in todays world. Idk the Names of the stuff but the 3 things they have with ham and bread, some got cheese are really good. I usually never eat pork but when I go here I get those they are great.“

“The bagels are made fresh daily. They sell day old bagels for a discounted price. The eggs are not microwaved, and the meat for the sandwiches are not microwaved either. Everything is made on a short order grill. I drive 30 mins out of my way to have someone ride do it right. I have not found a place within Worcester County that does it this good.

Every time I go I try something different and so far everything has been delicious, healthy 7 grains, traditional French, Irish soda bread (both traditional and white chocolate cranberry were amazing!) all different kinds of muffins and their scones! I had biscotti today and that was so good! And everyone work there are always nice and friendly, I feel so lucky to have this little gem near me!“

“The European Bakery helped us save a wedding today! A friend was getting married and somehow her family dog got into the wedding cake during the ceremony and destroyed it. I started frantically calling bakeries trying to find a small white cake that the bride and groom could cut during their reception. The man at the European bakery was able to provide us a small cake with white icing on a hour’s nice, and the bakery staff were so nice incredibly nice. The bride and groom were thrilled and it turned a situation that was incredibly stressful into a funny story because we had a new cake. The kindness shown by the European Bakery made me want to drive back to Worcester just to go there again. I can’t recommend them highly enough!“

Lots of good things to say about this place and it will be my go to for interesting food to eat and purchasing of food items moving forward. I love the focus of this marketplace as you can have a bite to eat such as their flavorful shawarma sandwich’s. Also, their bakery is soooo good! I had a pistachio chocolate croissant 🥐 that is to die for. (Much better than some fancy bakery shops) Oh and most importantly their prices are really affordable in my opinion. These are some of the things you can get high quality at a fair price. Tahini paste, spices, prepared sauces and prepared food in their refrigerated section. The garlic sauce is on point. Olive oils, preserved jams, coffee, etc. They carry quite a bit of inventory of various interesting food items. Definitely make a trip to this wonderful store. You won’t be disappointed! 😊“

Used to be our go to place for kabobs however seems like it has new owners and the place is no longer halal or has the menu it used to. Unfortunately, won’t be coming back however rating it 5 stars for all the delicious food it served us over the years“
